I realize those are regular gold crystals right now. I was wondering if they would be upgraded to the greater gold crystal since they will cost the same.

Doubtful since players who arent uncollected can get SA rewards

Greater gold crystal and Uncollected Gold Crystal are separate things according to the in game message.
