Apple diagnostics

So been into the Apple store and they have said my battery is damaged they have done diagnostic and told me that the Mcoc app is using so much battery power 70% over 5 minutes what is a dangerous amount and why the phone is overheating! They have said do not use the app !! This will make ur warranty invalid!! So Kabam I put a ticket is got a computer response ?? What are they going to do ? As I can’t play the game put a lot of time and money into the game to now be unable to play it due to Kabam issue with the processing rate! So they need to sort it ASAP ! Or refund all the money been spent on the game and close my account if they can’t fix it !! If they can il be happy but what about missing my arena grinds for Pym Canisters ! Units bc solo event alliance events loads of stuff ! Not only that been kicked out the game while in war due to a crash ! Need something drastic to happen and quick as playing the game on my phone isn’t safe! So I want a human response to what will they do !!

Keep replying to the emails, eventually a real person will respond.
I had a question that I sent a ticket, I got automated response and after automated response.
I kept at it and about 5 emails in I got a proper answer to my question from a real human.

Kabam are breaking the agreement between user and provider !! I’ve looked into this and I have the right to ask for everything spent if the item is faulty eg this game !! As it’s offered on iPhone and everything I have bought has been on iPhone iOS ! So time to really sort it Kabam

I am also having the battery issue when playing MCoC. This needs to be fixed immediately!!!! I will not continue to use an app if it has the potential to damage my device.

Im sorry but if a iPhone store approved app breaks your phone in anyway it should not void any warranty.

I agree. If an app breaks my phone, guess who is going to buy me a new phone; not mom/dad, not my wife, not me, nope Kabam will be buying a new phone.

Either go to San Francisco, Austin both in USA or go to the Vancouver office in Canada if they don’t fix your stuff. Just show up in person.

If it can be proved that it damaged your phone battery and you're not the only one, that's beyond "compensation".

That's called a class action lawsuit. These devices aren't cheap.

Is there a number we can call? Cause none of these issues seem to be handeled appropriately through email and I’m a paying customer. I need to speak to a live person. I don’t have the time to be emailing back and forth like this.

Can you share a link where it explains refunds for all in-game purchases? I know Apple may refund app purchases if the app is faulty, but not sure about in-game purchases. But you have my attention!

I don’t believe that Kabam understands the potential fallout from this issue and the possible legal actions that they could face. They are aware of the issue and have done nothing to my knowledge to warn gamers about the potential damage using the app could do. I understand that is something that no developer wants to do but there comes a time when the costs of not doing it could far out weigh the costs of doing it both in reputation and monetary terms. They are playing with fire (pun intended 😉)

I just went into an Apple store after my phone repeatedly crashed and overheated. Almost new iPhone 7+. They ran a diagnostic and it showed that MCOC was using 70%+ of my processing power/battery life while in use. The employee documented everything for me, stated this is not normal behavior and is certainly a detrimental effect to my phone. I was still under warranty so my battery was replaced but

I filed a report with kabam notifying them I except compensation for a new battery and new phone and received a canned response. If enough Users experience damage to their phone due to overheating this is potentially a class actionable offense.

Quit wasting your breath. Android users have dealt with this since the beginning and never gotten anything for it. If Kabam offers Apple users compensation, they will open themselves up to a major class action lawsuit by Android users too. Posts like this make it harder, not easier. You would have been better off keeping quiet and dealing with support directly. You might have had a chance and something that way. By making it public, you've just insured that they will do nothing because they can't afford to do it for everyone.

When you install an app, you assume responsibility for running it, not the developers. All you've done is destroy your own chances at receiving anything for your troubles.

TOS has them pretty well covered. That is why they aren’t quaking. It would take some physical impact such as the Samsung incidents to rock their world, I think.
