AQ Bracket Issue [Resolved: Compensation Given]

So last AQ we were in expert, we dropped a tier. So how did we end up in normal for this AQ???

Exactly this. Asking us to wait a week so you can examine the data is just too much. In the meantime, we are facing the harder AW maps and the start of season 3 with no glory to buy potions. Unacceptable. At the very least you should send out an in game mail with expert level max glory compensation to everyone as a gesture of goodwill and a stopgap measure.

It should but I wouldn’t hold your breath. Thankfully we got an easy opponent so shouldn’t need to spend much if anything this war for us.

Your right it “could be upsetting” if you had taken a moment between your “investigations” to read any of this thread. Then maybe, just maybe you wouldn’t have just insulted everyone in this thread and in your game with this revolting response.

As for Kabam I will officially never spend a dime on this game or any other app you are involved with now or in the future. I will be looking to apply my time elsewhere. I have no respect for a company that has no respect for their customers and are completely out of touch with the community.

Make sure you get that data you need to calculate the min. Possible ‘compensation’ you can.

“Free” as in “it’s all free” to run every map or as in “free to do what you want?” Because I’m guessing people don’t want to pay resources to get lower tier rewards.

Probably free as in speech, not free as in beer.

My best guess, and it is just a guess at this point, is that what Kabam is trying to say is that everyone should just run the AQ week normally, and at the end of the week they will grant everyone the actual rewards they should have earned for that week had they been in the right bracket. That is the only logical reason for stating that they need to wait for the end of the week to decide on compensation.

What that means for alliances that saw the error and chose not to start, or alliances that accidentally started the wrong map, I have no idea.

You’re probably right, but that’s an awfully flippant way to put it in an official comment that Zibiit knows is going to get read immediately by the angry masses.

But under these circumstances, I vote for free beer.

Yep..noticed the default set to 2 and changed to 5. Thought it was weird, but didn't realize til later that we were in normal instead of expert.

We need to know what is going to happen. Are we gonna bust our ass running map 5/6 or can we just do map 3 now that all milestone are hit? You should just give everyone what they got last week in terms of final rewards as well as milestone rewards.

What an absolute debacle Kabam. To think that a company can operate like this on a consistent basis is perplexing. You may have an audience with MCOC but moving forward, I cant imagine anyone wanting to invest in another one of your games/ platforms, I certainly won't be... Dont forget everyone, we normally compete with 1/3 the alliances out there this weeks mess up has combined all 3 brackets this we are competing against 100% the alliances and the rank rewards are still same for normal bracket so looks like the 1/3 that are normally expert will be the top...and the 2 lower brackets well... I'm sure Kabam will be happy to give us offers for us to buy to make up for it...

Continually apologising doesn't sit well either for most. Actions speak louder than words. Apologising all the time comes across as an excuse. To give you an analogy, its like punching someone in the arm and every time you do so, you say "we want to apologise etc." You continue to punch us is the arm time and time again. Are you going to accept someones apologise after they have punched you in the arm so to speak 5,6,7 times? There are so many issues and your player base is feeling very disenfranchised! Do something about it and do it promptly!!! Start with 30 min timers for AQ. At least something.

Problems with parry after the update and with sp after combo !
Close combat parry doesn’t work , for example if you do a sp and want to counter with a parry fast doesn’t work ...or if I do a combo and dash back once and counter with parry ..no parry but if I dash back twice parry will work.
On all quest I get issue with doing sp after a combo
I run the game on iPad Pro - the game stay on still allot on the first screen picture.
iPhone X - the game starts to get hot after 4-5 fights . It’s not so obvious but you can feel it in the hands .

What's the point of paying to run AQ as per normal. We're not getting the same rewards you spuds.

While the first one may not have been your fault the compensation you have proposed is inadequate. I also understand this maybe human error and sometimes **** happens.
I'm a plumber and I've seen a bit of poo. And I know enough that it's caused by Aholes. If you cared about your product and your clients you wouldn't be Aholes and therefore wouldn't cause ****.

We got over 22 million points last AQ and should be in Expert Tier and got dropped down to Normal. We are missing out on milestone rewards!

This has got to be the worst response ever given! All this leaves is more questions than we had to begin with!

If we don't run AQ will we be moved to our original bracket or will we be stuck in lower bracket next AQ as well. Same question if we were to just run map 3 instead?
Do we need to run our normal map 5 or map 6 in order to move back up in brackets?
If we don't run AQ are we out rewards or are we getting them regardless? Cause no one wants to waste resources on your disaster
If we do run AQ what rewards will we get?

I could keep going on with more questions that your terrible response opened up.

Kabam, can you not send us your 3rd string when we have all these troubling issues tearing at us and putting the community in an uproar? It just makes the situation so much worse

This is highly discouraging as a player who both loves and has spent money on your game. I’m sorry to say this, but it seems like all you guys are doing lately is just putting out fires. I don’t mean any disrespect, but I’m going to stop spending if every couple of days there is new issue for you guys to fix. Just honestly tired of it.

Yeah we need to know before the next map starts how this is going to work, and that means kabam not twirling their thumbs until the end of the AQ week while they discuss what should be an easy fix. If we need to run our normal map 5 to stay on track we need to know ASAP. If this is a freebie week we need to know ASAP. If the fact that map 2 was our default when it hasn’t been for 2 1/2 years and someone accidentally launched it, and that’s gonna hurt our standing so we need to compensate the rest of the week, we need to know ASAP so we can plan and throw in map 6. I already voiced my displeasure with the recent fires kabam is putting out badly, with the compensation packages, and then this happens...it makes me question not only the people in charge over there once again but the future of the game. Not sure if you guys realize this but running an alliance can be a little stressful anyway, and now we’re jumping through hoops weekly to run over here constantly, hear some vague message from the team, relay to our group, rinse and repeat. The state of the game is worse right now than during the 12.0 debacle, hands down. It’s that bad. And throwing an energy refill and some paltry gold at us isn’t going to fix it. You have serious structural and integrity issues on YOUR PART. Get it together, and remember who actually funds your paychecks and the game itself, and maybe start treating us like you promised after 12.0 cuz I’m seeing everything backslide quickly.

Please understand that this response was far too generic and has raised multiple other questions that need to be answered. The big question is: Are we to keep on spending resources on map 5 & 4 for no reason or will the scores still count after this series has ended? This has to be answered ASAP otherwise people will once again have every right to complain
