New forums, new Character Wishlist thread

Just as a reminder, our rules:

Character requests are still a very frequent topic of conversation within our community, and with good reason - there are a ton of amazing Marvel characters in their universe.

The old Character wish list thread was ballooning a bit, and several characters requested in that thread have since been added to The Contest. We're starting up a new thread to house these discussions so that they can continue, but in a more up to date manner.

A few FAQ's:

1) Why haven't you added (X character) yet?!

A: there are so many characters we want to add, but simply haven't gotten to yet. A character's lack of presence in the Contest currently does not necessarily mean that we've overlooked them or that we don't already have them on our radar. Our teams have a finite amount of time in order to produce content, and we'd love to bang characters out quicker - but still need to maintain realistic developer cadences.

2) We need more female characters and more diversity.

A: Our own team is quite diverse itself, and we agree that representation is an important concern!

3) Why do you bother adding (X re-skinned character) when you've not even had a chance to add (x character not in The Contest)?

A: While some people are not a fan of character re-skins, MANY of our players are. The Marvel universe is one with a lengthy lore, and almost every beloved character has gone through some sort of costume change or shift at some point in their super-powered careers. These differences offer a good opportunity to re-introduce players to content they may not have managed to obtain the first time around, and allowing new players to pick up a certain champion while still keeping things a bit fresh. Our goal is to have a healthy balance between release types.

4) Can you confirm if a requested character is going to be released?

A: The short answer is no. We have specific timelines regarding when we can announce content, and that means that we can't pop in to say 'hey, that person is coming!'. For those wanting to keep on top of our latest announcements or teases, following our Twitter and Facebook accounts are your best shot. We also have an Instagram account that you should follow. So go forth, and suggest! We're not going to individually reply to the comments and suggestions that we see, but we are reading everything.

This should go without saying, but please discuss the characters you'd like to see without insulting each other or trying to discredit someone's opinion. Friendly debate is welcome, but the emphasis here is 'friendly' ; )

Special 3:
Valkyrie Charge- Brunhilde leads a charge on her winged steed, with other Valkyrie following, trampling the opponent until all have passed!

What's so exciting about Korg? Seems like kind of a reach, pretty obscure character when there is so many other great champs. Valkarie would be more logical

Valkyrie would be more logical, but Korg from Thor: Ragnarok got so much praise and positive feed back from fans...

Jessica Drew please! But make sure it's in her old costume, not that new teeny-bopper version.
Abilities should be a fighting style similar to Black Widow (as they trained together).
Special 1 - Venom Blast
Special 2 - fast jabs, round-house kick then venom blast
Special 3 - Jump to the 'roof' crawl along past the opposition, land behind them, kick their feet out from beneath them so they fall on their back, stand over them firing the mother of all venom blasts to them with both hands, then a little toe kick to their foot like she's making sure they are out cold before walking off.

Thor IW (w/Stormbreaker)....that would cool, but considering we got Thor (Ragnarok) probably not happening even though he would be a favorite among the community.

A few requests here. All members of the 31st century Guardians of the Galaxy:

1. Aleta. Cosmic. Her SP3 allows her to transform into the male starhawk (similar to Void/Sentry)
2. Starhawk. Cosmic. His SP3 allows him to transform into Aleta
3. Classic Yondu. Skill. The classic version of Yondu Udonta
4. Martinex. Science (he was engineered). SP1 can be throwing heat. SP2 can be throwing cold and SP3 can be a combination of both
5. Charlie-27. Science (also engineered). Super strength but with a gigantic gun.
6. Vance Astro. Mutant. The version that has Captain America's shield. SP1 is the shield, SP2 is his telekinetic powers and SP3 a combination of the two
7. Nikki. Skill. Small guns but very good evade skills.

Synergies if all these characters were to eventually make it would be between them and possibly the present day guardians of the galaxy. A synergy between classic Yondu and present day Yondu could be interesting and based on the Yaka arrows.

If you check the MCOC home page, you will see Jessica Jones.......but she isn't in the game, is she?....it would be great to have her...after all i'm loving her series.

Now, kabam is adding korg and heimdall to the mix. both are really interesting characters(especially korg....) but shouldn't valkyrie and excutioner be added along.....they were equally awesome in Thor ragnarok......just saying.

I'd like to see the Apocalypse with a passive ability to give heroes from 1 to 3 * exactly 300% health, attack, and 25% increase in character ability, because Apocalypse improves the abilities of their 4 Knights. This would help in missions where specific heroes are needed.

Whenever an Aurora of Electricity buff expires Thor becomes indestructible for 5 seconds and activates truestrike for 10 seconds

If struck by special attack while Aurora of Electricity is active Thor immediately replaces it with indestructible for 10 seconds and takes no damage from the attack Thor also activates truestrike for 15 seconds

Abilities
Passive: Aurora of Electricity
Dashback and hold block to activate lasts 8 seconds
Thor gains 50% of his power meter over 8 seconds and becomes stun immune for the duration also has a chance to inflict shock when hit
Raise attack rating by 30%

Well the most beefed up champ might as well be a god maybe tune him doing a bit but this is just a basic rough draft and he is already toned down from my original idea
