This Month's Ant-Man/Wasp/Ghost Event Quest and Pym Side Quest Need To Be Extended

I've barely heard it being covered in here, but for many players affected by the overheating who wanted to finish up the Event Quest this month, they've been essentially locked out of the game for 2-3 weeks, which is a fairly huge majority of the time the event quest is open for, yet there's been almost no talk about extending the event quest into next month to make up for it.
I understand that Kabam can't predict when game-breaking bugs happen, but when they happen for as long as they did this month, and when it effects as wide a player base as it did, there needs to be plans to extend these things. Player compensation is a separate thing, that's not what I'm specifically talking about here. I expect that when things don't go to plan, Kabam can adapt to it and make sure things work out fairly for as many people as possible.
I don't expect Kabam to shrug and say "oh well, let's just roll out the next event" and move on because that's unfair for quite a large majority of MCOC's player base, so I'm hoping they've already planned to extend this month's events into next month's (maybe have it run at the same time as next month's events for about 1-2 weeks, but severely reduce energy costs of this month's). I know next month is pretty packed with events, but that would not be an excuse to shove this month's events under the rug.
Kabam, I hope you've put some thought into this, because punishing the player base for problems outside of their control is, as you say, "against the spirit of the contest".
