List of good aw defense champs

Hi guys. This is a bit vague but aside from mordo and juggs, who else are good in aw defense placements, duped or unduped?? Thanks in advance!

    I had difficulty fighting hyperion and juggs, uc, and mordo that is why initially i think those champs are good. How about elektra or av?

    Vision is better to use in attack in my opinion. Ultron is still great depending on how strong you have him. We use ours all the time as our boss in one of our BGs and he does his job great.

    if you are wanting a walk thru of every single champ then they have a website for that. If people give you advice when you ask for it then take it. Don't question it. Use it or not is up to you.

    Original Vision if duped is tricky, Vision Age of Ultron is not tricky at all. Honestly if I had a duped Original Vision then I would use him on attack though. Other than that Ultron is nice, however not great either.
    Nightcrawler, duped Magik, duped Juggernaut, Mordo (those last three if you have MD mastery), and Hyperion are best if you have them.

    Something else to consider is synergy bonuses you can put on teams that increase certain effects. Sometimes that can make a world of a difference in AW defense.

    I suspect you are referring to Vision Age of Ultron. The original Vision is considered a strong defender when awakened because of synthesis: he gains about a bar of power periodically. So unless you bait specials consistently and quickly, and unless you control your own attacks well, you could push him to two bars of power and then have him jump instantly to three bars of power.

    If on top of that you put him on a power gain node, say, he takes practice and probably the right attackers to take down without dying.

    Synergies are useless in my opinion. What's the point of giving a champ extra crit or armor? Only block penetration for yondu is a good defensive synergy imo.

    Yondu is great in unblockable because he can bleed you through your block

    It depends on the node too. Cyclops isn't a good defender overall but if you put him on an unblockable l1/thorns he is very effective. He has a class advantage against the usual skill champs that deal with thorns like BW, Elektra, and Xbones.

    Synergies help out a lot. Makes things a lot easier and matches don't last as long.

    Top tier (mystics need MD and Pretty much all my champs are duped so couldn't really tell you best unduped)


    Dormammu
    Mordo
    Iceman
    Hyperion
    Magik
    Juggernaught
    Nightcrawler
    OG and Miles Spidey
    Yellowjacket

    To a lesser degree
    Electro
    Moonknight
    Spidey Sym
    Black Panther CW
    Cable
    UC
    AV
    Ultron (or any other Beam/regen champs)
    Red Magneto
    Abomination (high sig on surprise node)

    and of course do not forget to use the God Tier champ on unblockable special one node. You know......Spidergwen.

    @Deadbyrd9 synergy doesnt always gives you extra crit rate or damage. Guess what a team can get 27% extra attack plus 16% of extra health and 5% of parfect block, not mentioning crit rate or damage. That you will have with venom, AV, spidy classic, spidy symbiot, electro.
    There are a lot of combination for attack, health, powergain. And trust me those makes a difference. If you and some other members maybe not all can place as per those synergy team and in appropriate nodes.
