Account Bans "Privacy Policy" double standard? Stop the Witch Hunts now.

Does anyone know why they refuse to say who is banned in-game yet on the forums they clearly show who is banned with the "Carry on this user is Banned" profile picture? (it even says status banned on their forum account)
It would be really helpful for alliances that have cheaters to easily snuff them out if they could be consistent and apply the same policy in-game as well.
The logic that they want to prevent witch hunts just doesn't make sense to me.
Uncertainty leads to witch hunts. How does clearly showing who is banned foster a witch hunt?
Am I missing something?

whoops. sorry english is not my first language. thanks!
GW 10,000th post!!!! Congrats!
Bans for cheating ans bans on the forums are completely separate. Bans on the forums arent from cheating, they are from bad behavior like cussing or such.
Bans in game are from cheating or modding.
Oh by the way its "witch".
Wasn't even paying attention. Thanks...I think? Lol. Just a number for me.
But the privacy policies agreed upon for your in-game account and forum account are the same.
Actually, the issue with that is privacy. People create a handle for the Forum, and their Account is linked. It's not the same because displaying it here pertains to Forum etiquette. It doesn't affect your Account, and has nothing to do with your game behavior. There are reasons why displaying it here serves as an example. Not the same in-game. No matter how people try, I don't see them putting cheaters on blast.
A cheater is just another word for someone that broke the rules.
When someone breaks a rule on the forums are put on blast (Jail bars/ CARRY ON PERSON IS BANNED) but when they break a rule in game they shouldnt be put on blast?
It will lead to many more problems in-game. The Forum is Public Domain. We see the behavior. We don't see what people do in-game. That's a privacy issue that extends to the contract of personal information between the Users and Kabam. Here, you can see what people do that requires action. Blasting cheaters in-game is just a whole can of shady **** that is not only unnecessary, it leads to anarchy.
So blasting people that break the rules on the forums are ok, not shady and necessary.
Blasting people that break the rules in-game (which matters more) is not ok. shady and unnecessary.
got it.
"I will, however, pass on this thread to the team, and the feedback we have received on the desire for more information in regards to TOS Violations in Alliances."
I wonder what came out of this feedback that he reported to his team - it has been over 2 months now and no feedback returned to us and only more frustration, people qutting, etc.
How hard would it be to change the privacy policy? Similar to the new GDPR compliance where people had to agree to this new policy. I am sure most of the players would accept a new privacy policy - only the cheaters would push back on this.
