Dilemma!

Hi,
So I’ve been playing this game for the best part of 4 months now. As you can see, my 4* roster is coming on well...
My dilemma is: Do I bother taking some of these champs to 5/50, or don’t bother and focus on ranking my 5* champs instead?

You’re going to need a few 5/50 to bridge you to where 5* are going to be the focus. You’ll need strong champs for AQ and AW to get the materials you will need.

Sparky, Blade, Ghost Rider and Gwenpool are good places to start.

This is what I’m debating, do I wait and hope for a semi-decent 5*, or just focus on my “god-tier” 4* champs. I’m planning a push towards uncollected once the event quest is done

Blade, mephisto, starky worth rank ups even as a 4* they will help clear content better then an okay 5*.

If you aren’t overflowing or expiring rank up resources you can always wait.

I would recommend anyone to get 6 of the best 4* up to 5/50 for your attack teams. It will take forever to get 6 5* ready for those spots, assuming you pull 6 worthy.

I know, I’m tempted to 5/50 either Blade or Sparky, but it just seems to take forever to get fully formed T4CC’s

That process won’t accelerate without solid attack teams for AQ and AW. Think of it like a chess board. A queen is great to have but your full set of knights and bishops is worth more. Queen can’t do much by herself.

Hmm, I see what you mean. In all honesty, I’ve been doing quite well in AQ and AW so far. I think I’ll just wait until I feel like I’m not progressing in story or alliance events, and decide then. Should hopefully have a couple more 5* options by then!

The RNG must love you.

I have been playing for 5 months and I got no awakened 4 star champs and the champs I have are a bunch of Scrubs outside of Void and Magik.

Not joking, I got Spider Gwen, Phoenix, and Civil Warrior.

Once you start doing map 5, t4cc aren’t too hard to get. It does take long, but I does take much shorter otherwise. Agree with whoever said rank up blade GR SE and GP. No specific order for me

That’s the issue man, my ally don’t do higher than map 3 in AQ so T4CC’s are hard to come by

Yeah, if my Alliance did that map, we would not get anywhere in it.

That's a solid 4* Roster. All you need now is time. 4 months in this game is really very early in the grand scheme of things. Have lots of patience, that's key.

Join a new ally then 🤷🏻‍♂️ Look around before leaving. Map 4 isn’t a bad start. You could ask an officer to do map 4 if you don’t wanna leave

Keep in mind, for a 5* to be significantly more powerful than a 5/50 you have to take it to 4/55.

Your rankup costs for multiple 5* will be rather unreasonable for a while in a map 3 alliance. Compare the costs to 4* in the chart.

Until u have like 8 top level 5* champs at r3,4* champs will have a lot of value for u...the common line that 4* have lost their value is for end game players and those who have been playing the game for a year and more..plus the likes of blade and starky are much better and have more usage than many 5* champs so yes get those 4* champs up

And look for a better alliance...I moved from an alliance which did map 3 and 2 to one which does 54433 and the difference is massive..post ur roster and requirements to the recruitment forums

Yeah I’ve heard that line a lot, so it’s given me doubt about whether to rank 5 a few god 4*s or hold on for the 5*s!

As for looking for a new ally, that’s my intention once this AW season is done, but only to an ally that has room for 3

I did 5.2.6 with the following team:

4-40 duped blade
5-50 unduped Spark
5-50 unduped GR
5-50 duped AA
3-45 unduped Hela (basically a 5-50)

Collector fight I just revived Spark 10 times with stashed 20% potions. Evade 7x, then pound on him until he kills you with SP1. I was so unlucky with auto evade that in 10 fights it only saved me once, so that might be better for you.

I was stuck at 5.2.3 with 5-50 AA, 5-50 GR, 4-40 Rulk, 4-40 Guillotine and 2-35 Hela when I landed Spark and Blade in 1 week...

Phoenix isn't bad if you know her to use her, her incinerate can come in very handy in quest.

Electra is a solid 5* pull, though. Don't leave her behind.

Ghost Rider or Mephisto is a tough one, though. Both have good Blade synergy; both versatile. Probably GR, but advantages either way.
