Well then it’s free for you. I personally lost out time to grind arena, quests, Aq and Aw from them. I know that it’s “free” in the sense that I didn’t pay for anything, but it’s not “free stuff” as used as a general term on the forum, it is compensation and if it’s not felt to be enough then the community has a right to complain.

In a vacuum, this summoner appreciation package would be fine... it’s not over the top, but I would feel appreciated... but we aren’t in a vacuum...
Given the problems the game has experienced, I can not, in good concience, recommend this game to anyone... and if this is indeed all the “compensation” we will be getting, I can’t even make the argument to potential new players that at least they understand and correct problems when they come up... or that they appreciate their customers. Associating summoner appreciation with compensation actually just makes both contentions worse.

They're a dumpster fire right now. Like what is going through their heads to think this is adequate at all? The number of issues and bugs have skyrocketed drastically after every update. Then when talking about compensation they change the appreciation month to a week? So huge increase in problems means we're appreciated 75% less. Idiocracy at its finest.
I'm missing thousands of 5* shards because I haven't been able to grind arenas for 7 weeks because my phone gets too damn hot! How does this even come close to compensating that? Plus the lag, crashing and over heating has been affecting all aspects of the game yet we are only allowed to chose one package that compensates us in one specific area.
I am fine with the packages, the shards, the other things.
But truthfully? Honestly, from the bottom of my heart?
I just want the game to run smoothly.
I want these bugs fixed. I want the loading screens to stop freezing up and taking forever.
I want all of the little hitches and twitches and freezing in gameplay that were introduced when they messed with Parry and Dexterity to be fixed.
This game hasn't worked like it should since they tried to adjust Dexterity and Parry to have a smaller window to activate. Now, the game animation hitches -- for example, when the AI tries a heavy with Daredevil. Because the heavy is longer and was easy to evade, some kind of code hitch was inserted that will leave you rooted to the spot.
Everyone who was here before 12.0 knows exactly what I am talking about. We've all seen it.
I really like this game. I log in and play almost every single day. I am serious -- I honestly do like this game, this platform.
I don't care about compensation.

Agreed, these 1000 5* shards and whatever else is on offer more than make up for 4 weeks of missed arena, missing void and various other champs aswell as all the questing I missed out on.

That said, I’m okay with this event. I went and did other things besides demolishing my own phone during the overheating issues. I am not that addicted that I must get my daily dose in.
I do understand those that find it lackluster though, having started all these threads upon threads over the last weeks where imaginations ran rampant.

I'm sure you only missed out on one mode during the downtime and unplayable state of the game. There's absolutely no way that you could have been involved with AQ, and AW, and Arena, AND the Event Quests... (Heavy sarcasm if you can't detect it)

1k 5* sucks. It takes 10k for a 5*. Even for a low lvl player thats not really appreciating them. This is all just a shame. Your game has downright sucked for 2 months solid and this is the best you came up with. Rehashed poo and a pittance of shards. Your close to losing a 3 yr player. Place your bets on how long this thread will stay open... I'm not going to complain about free stuff, but I understand why tons of people would be mad about this "compensation". It doesn't really compensate those who spend hours in arena grinding for 5* and 6* shards or the featured heroes. It doesn't make up for lost wars and AQ, and it doesn't make up for all of the shards and catalysts that were missed out on while the game was unplayable. This issue didn't really affect me, but I am completely on the players side in this case because tons of players missed out on so much more than 1k 5* shards.
As others have said, if this is just a random Summoner Appreciation thing, it's fine. IF they intend it to be a form of compensation, then it is sorely lacking, unless it is merely Part 1 of a Compensation blitz. Their announcement makes no mention of compensation or overheating issues, so it's quite possible it's unrelated, but of course, a mod would have to inform us further.

That's my signal to retire from the game. No love for remaining loyal in such an instable game and environment. Good playing with everyone, finishing this war season and moving on. I love the game, but the disappointment is unreal. You guys realize your app has without a doubt reduced the lifespan and durability of users' hardware via cellular device? These devices that are nothing close to being considered cheap? That's one thing worth mentioning, I wish I could remember everything else that's gone wrong in the past few months. Flip flopping war around, attempting to remove diversity admitting it was garbage, but left it anyway since you didn't properly communicate with the community the sudden change. I'm not wasting anymore time going on about it, clearly it won't matter.
Wish the best to all the current and future summoners and hope they treat you better in the future. I know the player base has treated them well in their revenue.

I think its perfectly thought out. Helping people choose what they need. The energy cost reduction and map cost removal is pretty nice. Hall of healing is always great. Plus the t4cc frags every 7 hour is great.

You can’t be serious. This is an insult. Half of this “compensation” is either useless for end game players (Act 4 energy reduction, XP Boost) or needs to be earned by devoting more time (Battlechip and Gold boost).
The global 10% boost is not bad, but considering I have no new content to play it’s not overly helpful. It’ll help in AQ, not that AQ is hard after a year+ Of the same map. The boost will get canceled out in AW.
Halls of Healing is an event you already run. We were overdue for it anyway.
No cost for 1 week of AQ? You owe us about a month at the minimum.
Choose your own package and the 7 hr crystals are the only thing that comes close to what I consider compensation for not being able to play for 3 WEEKS. Summoner appreciation should at least last as long as the over heating issue did. They need to be overwhelming which I doubt. Adding 1k 5* shards to them is laughable. I can earn double that in 3 days of arena.
You should be running this event to show players you actually care about us. Every week this game has at least one issue (still locked out of AQ for this week’s bug). We stay loyal to a game that breaks twice a week. You should really reconsider having this as compensation for your device damaging bug that lasted close to a month.
I'm sorry but if these packages u get too choose from 1 then it kinda does suck since what happens if u lost out on aq and aw also arena u have to choose what u want like I think that's a bit too far especially since loads missed arena some didn't even bother with aq or war since if they did then there phone be overheating I think the package should be u get to choose from 1 but let people have at least alliance and arena package sent together since they missed out so much questing didn't really hurt them since they didn't miss much unlike arena for the 5 star shards and units that are avalible for that month in arena also all the bc they lost out on I don't grind arena but I agree that missing arena and alliance stuff for overheating problems is bit terrible I would have thought this been something different than on to appreciation week
