I think the issue is that once you realise there is a bug, and that it isn't working as intended, and if you purposely use that bug to clear content that would not be possible (like becoming Uncollected or doing Labyrinth), then it starts to become an exploit. Usually I think people realise at some point that what they are doing is an exploit, especially when it isn't acting as it should be.

But yeah, I think that the communication should be much better and that everyone should be notified that this bug is a thing.

So if you see and read the synergy and read that it saves you 1 time from getting knocked out and you say oh cool, let's try it. Then you try it you don't die, at all after multiple hits. At that point, you should know some is wrong because it's not what the synergy states.
You can make 2 choices here, continue to use it and turn a blind eye knowing something isn't right or report it or come to the forums and see what's going on.
If you used it 1 time by accident, you are fine. If you continued to use it and take advantage, you should get a ban.

They have the data. They can see what we do. It's not hard to tell someone who is obviously exploiting it.

if you didn't exploit the bug, then you have nothing to worry about. Whether they communicate it or not, you should know right from wrong.

honestly i can agree with that. to some extent tho. most people would test it, see how it works, but im talking about those who dont. its obvious most people would test that synergy, but from someone trying to just finish masters, all im doing is using literally my second top champ as well as my new champ.
lets say i read the description. i fully understand what it means, so im not going to test it. to me, it just seems handy. so i put heimdall on my team with my topchamps, play with him until he dies(assuming i didnt rank him up at all and his rating is wayyyy low for even masters, or im experimenting tactics **** up nd he dies) then i let hela take over and steam roll everything.

iwouldnt find this bug on my own unless i was doing harder content that would have killed my hela.
but in my scenario, i finished the hard stuff and im running easy stuff. i read that incredibly clear synergy, and moved on not thinking i needed to test it by letting hela "die"

Well, I tried blocking against Domino and she has never broken my block, and when I run into the scenario that DDD presents, then yes my "block is broken".

Also, they claimed that Drax's double medium thing was a bug. I'm not going to get involved in that discussion, but now it doesn't prevent astral evade from activating, so they fixed what they claimed was a bug.

It was a frame rate change. He was never intended to bypass Evade. It just happened to work out that way. If another pressing issue causes them to fix the frame rate and as a result that is altered, that's how it is. People using Drax to bypass Evade is nowhere near as serious as a Champ that can't die, ever.

In that case you aren't actually exploiting the bug, and haven't found it. I don't think you'd deserve the ban, but for example if I got a first time clear through 5.3 and 5.4 with that bug, then I'd say it was an exploit. But if I was grinding through Heroic EQ and not finding it at all, I don't think it would be. I'd like to say that if or when the ban wave comes, that they'll use some manner of discretion and common sense, but if not then something will be figured out.

Again, I think scale is important for discretion here...when the Drax bug allows you to effectively counter 1 champ and slightly mitigate 2 others (or smth), whereas here we have an issue where you could complete Labyrinth of Legends if you had $100 and lucked out. It's a bit of a difference.

In that case you aren't actually exploiting the bug, and haven't found it. I don't think you'd deserve the ban, but for example if I got a first time clear through 5.3 and 5.4 with that bug, then I'd say it was an exploit. But if I was grinding through Heroic EQ and not finding it at all, I don't think it would be. I'd like to say that if or when the ban wave comes, that they'll use some manner of discretion and common sense, but if not then something will be figured out.

mainly what im worried about is actual unfair bans. idk if theyre gnna look through thousands of people who used the synergy and one by one check to see if tgey first time cleared anything that would be "difficult" or if theyd run a software showing that someone just used those two A LOT. see my concerns?

I'm man enough to eat my words. Drax wasn't a bug... Now what about Domino ? When her full block break was in effect did people get banned for placing her on defense ?

Well, no. That's not an exploit. That's a Champ that can break your Block. You're not going to take advantage of all content by not dying that way. They couldn't very well stop people from using the Champ while they worked on it. There's a difference between normal gameplay and exploiting. I don't think you're getting the perspective in your comparisons.
