I didn't have that much trouble, but one of my ally mates did. Maybe I'm better at dodging/baiting his special 1, but yeah agree, something is off with this encounter
Yeah. It was pretty brutal. AI is so sporadic. Use a Medium and get Intercepted with a Heavy and you're toast. Evade lags and you're toast. This whole wait and ambush technique it has is really frustrating. Lol.
Yeah for the 3*, iceman and cable did the job for me. The 2* was definetly rough, first used max storm and probably had like 150 hits to take him down to about 50% health. Then went in with max wolverine and took him down to like 13%. Then finally finished him off with red cyclops at rank 2 i think, armor break definetly helped. But the fact that my game was also ridiculously laggy today made a whole lot harder as well.
Come on guys do you just want easy content and the game be so easy that you’re just given stuff for free

Theres a difference with easy content and stupidly hard content, I can easily do master quests in the monthly quests, have easily killed maestro, and am currently working on going thorugh act 5, 2 more quests and I'll be uncollected, but this danger room content, for such absolute trash rewards, is madness.
Epic difficulty is not too bad for me since I had Iceman at 4/40 at 90 sig, but in master difficulty, i struggled hard. I think you will have to be crazy skilled to beat this guy in one try as in you can 'dexterity' every specials and parry/dex his normal hits. Honestly I do not know if anyone can do it. Not even those youtubers out there who get sponsored.
It could be done. I nearly 1-shotted him with 2* cable (got him down to 20%) but it was a stupid long fight. over 200 hits and he didn't die. 1 mistake and I was toast.
Exactly what i mean @DukeZman if you do not have skills to not get hit at all (which I doubt anyone can) you will not go through the Sentinel with one champion. You have proved my point.
Have you not watched youtube? People do have the skills to not get hit at all, and technically he didnt prove your point, or disprove it

Also, mot fights were 5* champs against 5* champs, it was never 2* against 4* champ and never got hit. c'mon @Pennmabob admit this no one can dodge him forever. You are bound to get hit once if you are doing it the first time. Don't try to argue.
Loads of people are used to sentinels cuz of aq now, people even one shot LoL maestro, it's definitely possible to one shot it

No, I can't, but im sure others can, stars dont matter anyway you can have a champ that is a 5 star that is a 2 star aswell
I did it first try with 2 star max level Bishop. def took awhile, but got it done in 224 hits.
It wasnt that bad... used sabretooth for the 3 star epic! Used 2 star bishop and storm for the master and others... started with bishop sp3 and the rest was easy! Just a little forward planning!

I always encourage people to try it for themselves. I'm just putting my experience in the mix. I'd like it if they looked at it, though. If not, I'll gauge for myself.
I get that it makes sense thematically, using mutants to go up against a sentinel. However, in practice, today's boss was about an order of magnitude more difficult than the day one Taskmaster, whom I had no problems with (missed 1-shotting with Wasp by 1 MLLLH combo, by missing a parry at taking a combo to the face).
The amount of hits required was appoximately that of an easy path labyrinth fight. It's too much effort for an event like this imo. Previous days were fine though and I did partipate in those. The 500 shards from the alliance event also help things out a little.

It’s still out of balance. Previous days boss dropped in about 60-80hits. Today it’s 3-4xs that
181 hits for 75 % of sentinel. All for 50, 5* shards...
