Announcing Event Quest: X-Men: Class Omega

NOTE: Unlike most monthly events that start at 10am PST, this one will not start until 11am PST. This one hour delay is to ensure that we can offload the Gwenpool Goes to the Movies event before we start the Class Omega Event, and prevent any unintended issues.

BACK TO SCHOOL
With Mutants scattered all over The Battlerealm, some of them are not aware of how powerful they are and they are in need of a leader. This is a job for an Omega Class Mutant, and who better than Emma Frost to take these Mutants under her wing. She has established an Academy in The Contest and all Mutants are invited. However Beast and Bishop are not so easily convinced that Emma’s intentions are pure. With The Summoner’s help they want to investigate this new “Academy”.

DIAMONDS ARE FOREVER

Two new Mutant Champions have entered The Battlerealm!

Emma Frost bursts into The Contest! With the ability to switch between her telepath and diamond form, Emma will be able to defend her fellow Mutants against the toughest of opponents. In diamond form Emma is a formidable defender, she gains armor and has resistance to most damage over time effects. In telepath form Emma switches to a damage dealer, controlling the minds of her enemies and inflicting as much pain as possible.

Omega Red is a relentless assassin and will stop at nothing to take down his targets. He releases death spores that slowly poison his targets when they are near him. Omega Red uses carbonadium tentacles to inflict huge damage, when injured he can also utilize them to steal life from his opponents. Omega Red will make a fine addition to your arsenal especially when you are up against poison and bleed Champions.

Q&A
How long does this quest run for?
This quest will be starting on the 5th of September at ~11:00AM PST and will run until October 3rd at 10:00AM PST. Those attempting Legends runs will have until September 19th to 100% explore both Heroic and Master difficulties.

I can’t see some of the rewards under “View Rewards” Are they missing?
No, they’re there! Currently we can’t fit all the rewards in the preview. In Particular, the title on Heroic difficulty cannot be previewed but you will still receive it upon meeting the required criteria.

How do I get the Legends title associated with Master Difficulty?
The Legends title and rewards will be given to the 100 players who 100% explore HEROIC AND MASTER difficulties in this Event Quest the fastest. Just like recent Event Quests, this quest will take advantage of the Time Attack system we’ve put in place for our Monthly Quest Legends Program. This means that the players that completely explore Heroic and Master difficulty the fastest within the first 2 weeks of the event being live will win the title. In addition to this distinction, these first 100 will receive the following rewards:

It's probably because Emma isn't wholly 'bleed immune'. She's sometimes bleed immune.

X-23's ability to switch from bleed to cruelty is worded to affect 'naturally bleed-immune' champions. Although that wording isn't present for Yondu & Electra, I think the same limitation might be.

Any regular Electra/Yondu users care to comment?

The energy cost this month are just too much you can either not sleep or buy energy refills while the champs you want to bring to the monthly quest aren’t tied up with alliance events. Then you add danger rooms kabam you really need to look into this please. Running heroic master and uncollected plus danger rooms then trying to get lower level cats if I need them is just impossible without spending units on refills or just not sleeping or having a life. I’m glad your looking for new events and game modes but there has to be a limit at some point

I understand you and I do agree with you but they aren’t forcing you to play those Contest. If you would then just spend energy on rank up materials quest and you’re all good. You don’t have to finish catalyst quest, danger room and event quest all in one go. It’s just fine to spend free energy on catalyst quest

Only problem with that is u need to do danger rooms to help your alliance get ther rewards and to keep getting the rewards you personally have to hit milestones and to get the best possible rewards you have to run all 3 event quests and to help with sa you need to be ranking up champs

Just played through chapter 1 part 2 of Master level... the boss is 8k, so what the hell are they doing with an 11k night crawler ambush just before!!!! Seriously! You’re ruining this game.

I was surprised by it too, but i soloed him with a 2/35 5* ultron 3 out of 4 times, so it should be doable with a 2/35 5* or 4/40 4*. Just be glad there wasn't an ambush in all the quests like last months lol

what i want to know is how are u meant to beat omega red without reviving? you get too close u die. you get far away he regenerates. its ridiculous

Use a robot that doesn't inflict bleed, vision for example. I soloed him with a 4/40 vision, it's not that difficult once you get used to it.

Honestly, I stopped playing halfway through this month's quest. Emma Frost is an absolute joke/cash grab on Kabam's part. She is so insanely op - much more so than many god tier champs Kabam has nerfed in the past to "balance the game", and it's just not fun. That also killed the Danger Rooms for me.

Everything takes a ton of energy and it's just too poorly balanced to make it fun. I love a challenge but this kind of bs combined with the EXTREME lag on Android - I just stopped trying.

If Kabam insists on claiming they want a fair and balanced game, they should build more balanced champs and fix their game because it is in shambles. This year was just brutal with the constantly worsening issues.

That's all I wanted to say - doubt they care but I needed to get it off my chest.

@WeaponX it's a fun fight with a little practice. Once you get the timing down it's not that hard.

Don't know what device you use but fighting her while your fight lags and freezes every 4 seconds is ZERO fun.

She’s not hard I only used revives on her in uncollected and that was on my first run of it apart from that no revives on her it’s just get used to her that’s all. A little practice and it’s easy. And I’m no way the best player and my account isn’t by no way strong.
