Regarding availability of 5 stars

Hey, anyone got a suggestion for kabam, that they should make the 5 stars champions more available and reduce the number of shards for the 5 stars?
As the game is progressing towards the 6 stars champs, 4 stars are getting more and more useless even in the alliance wars. For the act 5 , even the maxed out 4 stars are most of the times useless. I just wanna reach out to kabam, and let them know, that make the availability of 5 stars more often, and reduce the no. of shards for a 5 star.
Anyone who agrees with me can continue this discussion.

Unless they also reduce the amount of shards you get in every area of the game

I completely disagree, because not very often we get 5 stars, to get up to 10k shards is real pain, and now with the launch of 6 stars, don't you guys think that 4 stars are useless?

6 stars availability is similar to that of 5 stars before their launch. I would say, just increase the amount of 5 star shards you get in new event quest and other quests. because they never increased the amount, since the launch of 6 stars

getting 2-3 5 star each month is quit alot..
when i first startet the game it took like 1 month to get a 4 star.. according to this and with the new events and speciel events they made its easier to get alot of shards.

there been the 2 star arena event.
and lately many event where u get small amout of shards

That is exactly what has been happening during all this time.
Now you get 5-star shards everywhere in the game. Just farm them and you will get 2 to 4 5-star's per month

It's easier than ever to get 5 stars. Not to mention, you get 275k red shards for every 4 star you dupe and those are getting super common.

While it's always fun to pull a new 5 star, getting much more in a month that what we get would pose a problem from a resources standpoint. Those 5 stars cost a lot to rank 3 at least, the gold struggle is real and even T1alphas start to get scarce.

Am sure kabam has lots of reasons why but one major one is that so many people hoard shards that they would get more champs per shards they have. Instead kabam would rather just increase the rate at which you can earn those shards.

You are right
There was a time when 3 star were useful but now they are useless and same is happening with 4 star .
I am sure those who are disagreeing with your point must have good 5 star roster , so that's why they are not bother with 4 star getting useless .

Thing is tho they have increased the rate at which we get 5*, just gotta do the work an get them.

Not only events. Arena, AW and some other alliance events award 5-star shards

I didn't say every 5 star, I rank 3 the ones I want to and rank 4 the select few I really like using. I mainly rank 5 stars now in lieu of 4 stars. The only 4 stars I'm working on at the moment are sparky and blade for instance. 4 stars still have a valid place in the game, my IWIM is my top champ with a 99 Sig level.

Which is why there’s a champion requirement introduced.

Eventually, Celebrity Challenges etc will only be allowed to be done with 3 or 4*s only, which will make it a real “skill” challenge instead of whoever has the strongest champ to plow through the content.

That’s weird. What do you mean by “every event”? Uncollected + Masters alone nets you a 5* every month.

Couple that with Arena, War and duping 4*s, it’s easily 1 5* every 1-2 weeks.

If you’re in act 5 I immediately think 5.4, but maybe you’re just at 5.1, or 5.2, and four stars are far from useless there, with, admittedly, a lot of pain, I did most of my collector stuff with 4/40s, one 5/50 and a 3/45 cable...and honestly, “a lot of pain” means just very time consuming, which is better than near impossible. So anyways back to five stars, yeah, wouldn’t it be nice if each crystal cost one shard? But 5* are extremely accessible, this month was the first one I didn’t get one from uncollected and the side quest, uncollected was too difficult and danger rooms I didn’t always bother. So honestly, it gets easier, and 6* are somewhat taking over,
SO I imagine you’ll see more acessability soon anyways
