Keep in mind, that people had to purchase all father Odin vault deal + additionally pay 15,000 units on top for first time vision came out
fine, lets say it cost $1,000 the last time for argument's sake. It is now cheaper. It's what happens when people don't buy stuff or its too expensive. It's still too expensive. But there will be people who buy it and then get angry when its cheaper.
Makes sense for a second offering to be cheaper. Game has progressed since it was first offered, assets depreciate.
The most common advice that you find on forum, noone is forcing to buy. It was the wish of those who did. And it's an universal rule that any commodity loses its value over time. Also depends on how rare it was at the time of sale. Those who got then had bragging rights. Not so much now.
I don't fault their decision making, and your assumption would require more study into the player base. But by lowering the price, theyd sell more, therefore decreasing its value as a trophy champion to the whales.
No one "had" to purchase him at all. If you have this kind of $ to throw around on a mobile game (either version of this 'deal') then I doubt you care the price went down.
I want vision, I'm happy its cheaper and just a unit deal. If I didn't just spend my units I'd probably go for it. But having to buy units, I won't do this. Simple as that. No remorse if I bought it now and its cheaper later because thats how they sell more.
that being said, I didn't even mean that as talking ****. If you valued him at $500, thats your prerogative and good for you having that money. But you bought him at that value and you thought he deserved that value.
They need to come up with realstic offers that are way better and cheaper than this, I'm going to pass on this and all deals like this.

Again. It is already a known fact you open 10 and you can get the featured champ and may dupe him. And the featured fgmc keeps on running almost daily with different champs as featured. That and this offer cannot be compared. Nothing similar. And this is only 1 day offer. They want to make money by making it available for lesser known whales. Should be happy I feel.

Just like people who are “willing” to buy fgmcs and or the other deals.
I still think cyber monday/blackfriday deals should be good if compared to this years 4th of july deal i thought they was best deal this year, but then again the 4th of july deals wasnt for everyone Aswel.
I have 3000 units and a 5* tech awakening gem. I’m not getting this as it would come at the cost of an Odin for me. Nothing in this game is worth 99$, it’s a mobile game people.
Would it be wiser to save up another 5000 units and hope this offer returns or just buy the first part of the offer now?
Another way to ask it is, is 5000 units worth it for the equivalent of a 5-star wake gem, 3 class cats and the other common cats needed to take him to rank 3?
Do they ever sell 5-star wake gems for units only? Or is the only way I might dupe him in the future without spending money is on whatever the next offer for him is?
As for "worth it"... In my opinion, he is top 5 champ in the game with top utility in all game content with the exception of LOL
That said, latest trend of 5* Electro and DS is absolutely despicable IMO
I've considered it, but I think I'll use my resources elsewhere. However he's a great champ; and I wish the best of success to anyone who decides differently.
This is the only scenario where this is worth it to me. The only other thing you can save that many units for are finishing LOL or holding out until Cyber Monday. So if you have the units...this ok. There are really only 2 other equally worthy things to spend saved units on.

Awakened he is worth R5 and is one of top utility champs in the game
