Shatter vs Invisibility

I’ve been cruising through some UC having fun. My 6* Elektra with Resonate tore through Thorns (except MODOK where I used Archangel cause he’s my MODOK killer regardless). I found that Medusa can Shatter and disable all of Nighthawk’s abilities. I start the fight with LC to try and learn him before exploiting his robotic nature with Medusa.

But I found that if I shatter him while he’s invisible I can still miss. Is this supposed to happen?

It says in his abilities that the activation of his modes is unaffected by ability accuracy.
However it's only the actual activation, and it doesn't say clear if all abilities from that mode are also unaffected by it. Personally I think it's either a bug or a misleading text

I wailed on him with both 4 Luke Cage concussions and Medusa’s shatter knocking him down and going again. Never once triggered auto-block in all my runs fighting him despite an 81% chance on each hit. So I believe it has to do with invisibility working like a passive but then again Pacify can be used to prevent Magik’s limbo from healing her on occasions without using an AAR champ
