They do normally drop the update a day or two before the new event starts. Which I agree it is unusual that they decided to not do that this month. But in their announcement for the new update they said it would go live today.

I think was everyone is asking is why the update in the App Store has not been put up yet. That usually happens a day before the new event starts which is of course today in a couple of hours. So how can we get the new event if nobody has the updated app?

This is not always true. We tend to have 2 dates for the release of new versions, which are usually Monday or Wednesday, save for special cases like a hotfix or 21.2. Many of them will come day and date with the new Event quest starting.

OP, don't worry, it's on its way! It's also not in our control when the new version will release. It could be an hour from now, it could be 10! Hopefully closer to the first, and not the second...

Every month, every month people you ask the same thing about the update.

With the exception of maybe once or twice (in this case, last month) does the update show up late and/or early.

Other than that, its usually between 9:30 to 10 am PST the update is in stores. Not to mention its mentioned in the Changelog when the update will be available.

@Kabam Miike has there ever been talk of an In-game clock that’s the same no matter where you are? Then schedule your updates/arenas/timers solely on that? I feel like this would stop a lot of early questions and such. Just a thought

Problem is a company will submit a requested time/date to Apple. If Apple has an issue on their end and the update is delayed, it makes it look like the company (kabam in this case) is at fault.

It seems the update is available for Apple but nothing yet on Android... Also, the extra trial was supposed to be today but it might come with the new release as well...
