X-MEN: XENOCLAST
A new and dangerous illness has swept over the mutants of The Battlerealm, and the X-Men must align themselves with the Brotherhood to hunt down the source. When all signs point to the return of Mister Sinister, relationships become strained as Cyclops and his brother Havok abandon their allies to join Mister Sinister’s mysterious plan. Can the Summers brothers be saved from the nefarious Mister Sinister and his despicable experiments?

ALLIANCE QUESTS
Take on the most challenging Alliance Quest Map to date! Alliance Quest Map 7 features more difficult challenges for each and every participant - challenges that will change every week. Random Global Buffs will change who you choose to do battle with, while shifting paths will force you and your Battlegroup to coordinate effectively. Make it through Map 7 and you’ll earn more Points than ever before, a new Map 7 Crystal featuring Tier 5 Basic Catalysts and more!

To compliment the arrival of Map 7, some changes have been made to other Alliance Quest Maps and Rewards. Alliance Quest Map 4 is now FREE to play, and Maps 5 and 6 are now less costly to participate in. New Random Global Buffs will also feature across Maps 2-6 - choose your team wisely to take advantage! In addition to these changes, the Glory Store will have some item costs reduced, new Milestones will be added, existing Milestones will have Map 7 Crystals added to them, and Ranked Rewards will feature more Tier 2 Alpha availability and the inclusion of Tier 5 Basic Fragments!

Map 7 and these changes will not be in effect until February 16th. Stay tuned for more information!

ALLIANCE WAR MATCHMAKING UPDATE
A brand new Alliance War matchmaking system is in place! Alliances that want to participate in Alliance Wars will have to Enlist to a war during the Opt-In phase, and will be matched against another Alliance at the end of this period. The Opt-In phases begin at 3:00PM PST on Sunday, Wednesday and Friday. Wars will kick off starting at 11:00AM PST on Wednesday, Friday and Sunday. Matches will be given out over the course of 4 hours, followed by 20 hours of Defense Placement and you will have 24 hours to complete your Attack Phase. This system will ensure that you’re getting the best possible matches for your Alliance’s strengths and ensure that you are given a match if you are opted-in!

BUG FIXES AND IMPROVEMENTS
• DARKHAWK: Fixed an issue where the Birds Of Prey Synergy was not providing a bonus
• DARKHAWK: Autoblock will now trigger the Parry Mastery
• GHOST RIDER: Info Page listings for Bleed, Damnation, Lifesteal, and Fate Seal have been corrected to match in-game duration
• GWENPOOL: Teammates Synergy is now correctly activated with Spider-Man (Miles Morales)
• HELA: Special 2 Armor Break now correctly tagged as a Debuff
• SCARLET WITCH: Fixed an issue where ‘Weakness’ was not applying a weakness
• SPIDER-GWEN: Spider-Gwen's Special 1 Attack has been completely re-animated, and will now strike the opponent
• VENOMPOOL: Static Shock ability will now correctly deal Energy Damage
• VULTURE: Fixed issues regarding Armor Up (Chitauri Armor) interaction with Hela’s Armor Shattered and Mephisto’s Soul Prison

OTHER FIXES
• Fixed an issue where Summoners Level 40+ could not have more than two Tier 5 Basic Catalysts inventory items
• Summoners can now Unblock other Summoners in their Social Hub if the Blocked Summoner had changed their name
• Fixed an issue where you could not Duel a Summoner with a default Profile Pic
• Fixed an issue where the Vigor Node on Wolverine (X-23) in Act 5 Chapter 4, Quest 6 was applied incorrectly and did not affect the fight
• Fixed an issue where the Enemy could attack your Champion after the Fight Timer ran out while the game is paused, causing damage.
• Custom Art will now be used to differentiate each Battlegroup depending on the Map chosen
• Performance and Connectivity improvements

I saw Moderators posting it could be a 2 to 10 hour delay and now you're stating over 24 hours delay from when "it was submitted" to Google. If there is any question about the timeframe of when an update is available to your users, that was also mandatory for new content with a PREVIOUSLY SCHEDULED start time/date. Then you better have that content/update available at that time. People save expiring refills, boosts, and other items for these events and set aside time from their lives to play. Take away the BS item caps and this wouldn't be as big a problem, but now our items we planned to use are expiring.

@Kabam Miike please note the trials did not reload for some of us. I'm hoping you can do a rerun for us tomorrow or offer a compensation for this, it's aggravating to think we waited a month for nothing, I also believe there should be a compensation for this e's delay & frustration. P.S. I'm sure this day has been aggravating for you as well, hopefully kabam can hook y'all up with a couple free drinks.

message states that for android users, the update has not come out yet, kabam is working on it. Yet i am not an Android user and never have been. I run IOS, an apple iphone x and iphone 7, yet no update yet? what gives? i also do not have any quests except ultrons. As of 1/6/2019 approx time of 6:15 pm pst.

Kabam please don't treat android users like a lower class of people be fair and release the update at the same time. If one of these platforms updates isn't ready just don't release anything. sorry I don't have that good english

Kabam cant do ANYTHING about Google saying it will take 24 hours.

It always bad to keep anything last minute and KABAM WILL NEVER LEARN! They should send through the update at least 24 hours before the update should go live and when the clock hits the the last 24 hours, people can download it from their play/app stores. It will only update the loading screen which is ok because anyways in ONE day the new EQ and whatever will be there.

I hope @Kabam Miike conveys this message to their team. Better early than late otherwise you are the poor person who has to deal with outraged players

This is completely ridiculous. You all at kabam talk about being fair in the game and that fair play needs to ever present but then apple users get the update but Android users do not. How is that fair? What about this even talks about good customer service. And yes we are customers because even if 1 player pays a $1 they become at that point a customer and this company and game designers and game moderators should be all about customer service to the highest standard and respect each customer. If an update was not ready for one device platform then it should not be available for another until it is ready for everyone who plays this game world wide so it's FAIR!! FAIR!! Maybe if you all as a company would focus on fixing all the bugs that each update seems to present thank putting out new champion after New champion then this game should be fun, fair and exciting for all that play this game. Please think about this and how you would feel if back in the day you could not play ninetendo, Genesis, PlayStation or Xbox because they wanted to allow the platforms to be sold only in Canada and South America, that would not be fair right? We are all gamers to a degree and we love playing video games, it's why we are all here in the first place. Please remember what it's like to be a player, a charger customer and how you would like to be treated. Thank you Kabam Mike and the rest of the moderators.

I have never complained before, but I agree. This is the second time we android users have been left in the cold. Its frustrating and infuriating. I am not demanding compensation or extensions, but I do sincerely hope that you all learn from this and start adapting your timeline for these delays. Even if we are to believe its a "google problem" and not a kabam issue, the responsible thing to do for your android players and consumers is to adapt your future timelines accordingly. Also to be transparent about the issue and what you have done to rectify it. A third late release, say for the deadpool valentine event next week, will cause mutiny among many android users. Learn, adapt, communicate. Thats what we want...it happens once shame on you, twice shame on us for coming back...i wonder how many will remain or spend money after a third.

I never post on forums, but I'm pretty upset that the update has been very late two months in a row. Kabam has tried to shift the blame to the play store, but if they would submit the update sooner Android users like myself wouldn't have this issue. Kabam you need to take responsibility for some of this. Stuff like this drives people to quit playing especially end game users that are anxiously awaiting the new content. I know this post will probably go in one ear and out the other, but if this happens again next month I feel as though a lot of players, including myself, will stop spending money on the game and ultimately quit because of kabam's lack of responsibility to get the update out on time.

I just don't get how Kabam says the update is waiting for Google to push it out early today. Then they say that it wasn't ready. Then they say that they are waiting for it to be pushed out by Google. Then Google says they never got an update. Then, suddenly, the update is ready like they just sent the update or something. Something doesn't add up here.

Hey everyone,

I found the update for Android users! My alliance and a line app I'm in all confirmed it worked for them. Simply open the Google play store and in the search bar search for contest of champions. You should see the new icon and the update bar for the game. It worked for me as well. I have an LG Stylo 4 on metro pcs.
