Synergies

Do synergies work In War? When building a team for offense and defense, do synergies factor in. Thank you for input.

    They do work for offense. Haven't on defense for a while

    Not recently, they went down in end of 2017 and they have never worked since then, they abandoned a fix multiple times and don't seem to be to interested in fixing them which could be a good thing.

    Some of them will be worth to much trouble and make some really really crazy fights with some extremely annoying affects if they went into play so not sure I want them back.

    And yet they continually mislead people (probably more-so on weaker alliances, or alliances who do not read the Forums and communicate with one another).. Mislead people into believing the Synergies work because they still become highlighted when you’re building your Defensive Team.

    They should just TURN OFF the Synergy Highlighting during Defense Team Selection. No complex code involved there, probably a very simple coding change.

    Wow, All this time I thought they were working. And I have been playing since this app started. Shoot! Thanks for starting this post. It really is frustrating to find out this way.

    Yea awhile back I made some specific rank ups based on building a synergy team. Well not the only reason but had used it as one point to factor in. Needless to say... I also learned the hard way.. but that’s usually how I learn 😂 just ask my 4/55 Cyclopes and my 5/65 Thor rag

    I do not go to the forums much, I am truly In the dark about most changes to the game for the most part.
    I am hesitant at times to post due to my lack of knowledge and the sometimes snarky responses. I am happy I am not the only one that this past by. I thought they worked due to them activated when building my team. Thank you all for your input and response.

    They were but they stopped a number of times for some reason and had some fixes in place but they abandoned them, then complete silence on this subject for the most part for a long time other than the copy and paste answer
