Alongside this release, we’re happy to announce a Legends Run for Chapter 1! This Legends run will begin the moment you start Act 6 Chapter 1, and end the moment you 100% explore all Quests in the Chapter. You’ll have until April 13th at 10:00:00 AM PDT to log a time. The rewards for the Legends run of Act 6 Chapter 1 are:

In a new turn of events, we’ll also be featuring a Legends Run for all Chapters of Act 6, and a special Act Legends Reward throughout the release of Act 6! The top times for each Chapter’s Legends will be collected, and awarded with a new 6-Star Champion never before owned by any Summoner!

In order to win the Act Legends Reward, you’ll need to place in the top times of each Chapter, as follows:

Chapter 1 - Top 20 Times
Chapter 2 - Top 40 Times
Chapter 3 - Top 60 Times
Chapter 4 - Top 100 Times

If you happen to qualify for all 4 Chapters, you’ll receive the Champion 4 times, meaning you can Awaken them this way! We will have more to reveal about each Chapter’s and the Act Legends rewards in the future, but that’s all we have for you for now.

CHAMPION REQUIREMENTS
Act 6 is some of the most challenging content to date, and the perils within require only the strongest Champions of The Contest. Chapter 1 will contain CHAMPION REQUIREMENTS that will restrict the Champions you use to ONLY 5 and 6-Star Champions.

BUFFS
There are 7 new buffs making an appearance in Act 6 Chapter 1. Each Quest features one or more of these Buffs as Global effects, so you’ll need to bring your best. See below for each Buff and a little description of our intentions with it.

NO RETREAT! - When the Attacker dashes back, they gain Degen Timer for 1.2 seconds. Dashing back again while the Degen Timer is active causes a Passive Degen, dealing 200% of the Defender's Attack as direct damage over 6 seconds.
This Buff is meant to impose the mentality of its title: Do not retreat. While other similar Buffs like Caltrops can be easily countered with an Immunity, No Retreat requires careful planning and execution on playstyle to overcome. No Retreat was designed to be possible - but challenging - to avoid.

Special Delivery - The Attacker begins the fight with 15 Combo charges. Each landed basic attack decreases the Combo charges by 1, and launching a Special Attack will reset the charges. If all charges are removed, they are reset, and the Attacker suffers a Passive Degen equal to 100% of the Defender's Attack Rating over 4 seconds.
Similar to fighting Thor Ragnarok, this Buff will require you to make sure you have a Special Attack at the ready, but there are sure to be challenges to that strategy strewn throughout…

Combo Party - For every 10 hits of the Combo Meter, the Attacker gains a permanent Cruelty Buff, granting +500 Crit Damage Rating. When struck, the Attacker loses all Cruelty Buffs if their combo meter is lost and takes 40% of the Defender's attack as direct damage for each Buff removed this way.
This buff is generally quite simple, and is intended to create a “ride the line” feeling - you want to get your combo count up, but losing it will cost you dearly.

Long Distance Relationship - While close to the Defender, the Attacker gains a Weakness Debuff every 3 seconds, reducing their attack by 10% permanently. Staying far away from the Defender causes these Weakness effects to fall off.
The goal here is to encourage you to find “openings” to deal as much damage as possible. Waste those openings, or just spend too long near the opponent, and you’ll need to back off in order to gain your damage back. If you’re pinned in a corner, you’ll want to use your abilities to create some space and start dealing damage again.

Close Encounters - While close to the Defender the Attacker Regenerates 1% of their Max Health every second. While far away from the Defender, the Attack Degenerates 3% of their Max Health every second.
Sort of the inverse of Long Distance Relationship, Close Encounters encourages you to stay as close to the Defender as possible, and being efficient as you bait specials or get out of the way of abilities that could cause trouble up close (like Mephisto or Omega Red).

Power Struggle - The Attacker cannot gain Power during the fight through normal means. Each time the Defender reaches a full bar of Power, the Attacker is granted one as well and whenever the Defender launches a Special Attack, the Attacker loses an equal amount of Power.
This one is all about a “use it or lose it” mentality - you’ll want to make sure you’re keeping an eye on your Opponent’s power and how it relates to your own. Characters who can control power using their specials, like Vision or Magik, will excel here.

Hurt Locker - Using the same type of Special Attack twice in a row gives the Attacker a Delayed Blast charge for 5 seconds which may be removed by landing a Heavy Attack. If the Blast expires, the Attacker takes 50% of their Health as direct damage.
This one is (as the name might suggest) focused on creating a “bomb defusal” moment while you play. If you make a mistake, you’ll have a small window to correct it before your mistake comes back to bite you. Rest assured there will be challenges that will threaten to trip you up…

BECOME A CAVALIER
A new Act, a new Progression point! Summoners that complete Act 6 Chapter 1 will gain the new designation of “Cavalier”!

This designation is not as game changing as Uncollected, and is a step up similar in scope to becoming Contender, Proven or Conqueror.

Cavaliers will have access to a brand new Cavalier Crystal that guarantees at least a 3-Star Champion with a 38% chance at a 4-Star Champion, an 11% chance at a 5-Star Champions, and a rare 1% chance of a 6 Star Champion! These Crystals will be available for 200 units each.

Cavaliers will also have access to:

- A 25 Unit Discount on Grandmaster Crystals
- A new Cavalier Calendar in place of the Grandmaster Calendar that will grant a Grandmaster Crystal over 7 days, instead of 14
- An upgraded Daily Crystal that contains a rare chance of T5B Fragments, 5-Star Shards, or 6-Star Shards, and double the amount of - T2A Fragments, T4CC Fragments, and T4B Fragments!
- A slightly upgraded Free (4-hour) Crystal with more Gold!

This is the next step after becoming Uncollected, and we plan to continue to add more as the Story progresses!

Act6 is not for noobs and people will probably have to handle it the hard way.. Don't have 5* heimdall? Wait for him or don't try to cheat death at all, find other ways.. Can't dash back? Don't use starky (ghost will probably still smash it).. You need 100 revives to finish a path? Stash them, grind arena for units or buy them with money, act6 isn't going anywhere.. We'll face 23-28k pi champs and you're complaining about 4*.. Would like to see how many of those complaining about 4* used any 3* in act5, even if for synergy purposes only..

That being said.. Kabam.. Rewards suck balls..
The champs are only around 30k pi 4* could be easily and as a matter of fact I have used 3* in act 5

Case in point, I wrecked 40k Ultron with my 4* SL in this month's Nick Fury event.

I actually used a 4* Thor for Killmonger and 4* Gulk for Dorm ... so he could easily be right about doing this with 4* champs

@Haji_Saab im not saying if the quest can't be done with 4* , but if you check his image, he doesn't have any counter for dorm and his only option for Km is gamora's sp2.

@CFree I said 98% because only 2 crystals give 100% chance to pull a 5 or 6* the rest of the crystals be they grandmaster or special offers are such a small chance at pulling a 5* that they become nearly useless. I may be off but 2% chance of pulling a useable champ in featured GMC. 4* crystals and below are 0% chance of pulling a useable champ. Phc are 0% chance of pulling a useable champ.

He is right. it can't be done with his champs, unless he wastes about 1k units without counting the vast amount of items he had.

If you are talking about monthly eq yes they are but why waste resources on them when they aren't going to be useable for future story content.

Guess I'll add my two cents, even though Kabam won't change this.

We've played the game and "your" little game also Kabam. For you to tell you players that unless you spend thousands of dollars and grind arena for 5* and 6* you can't have your synergies that you'd like, is total BS.

You want just 5 and 6 star champs, but keep other rewards from different areas are still the same. (Monthly EQ, AW) Those who don't throw money at you, don't have all the shiny new champs and synergies, so most people rely on 4* and even 3* to have an advantage, an advantage that YOU put in the game.

You're essentially punishing those, who have the worst of luck with their 5 and 6 star pulls, and lets not forget, those highly skilled summoners who can wreck even the hardest content with 4 star champions.

BUT, lets face it summoners, they wont change it, so for those without deep pockets and god tier RNG on your account, guess most will have to wait a year or 2 to pull all the champs they need to complete it. Way to go.

And I certainly don't care for that its "endgame" content BS some people are saying.

He doesn't have any power control champion for km, or a solid armor break champ so he will end up dying to him, making him waste some revives, and for Dorm, with his 4* rank 1, he will die of block dmg.
Don't forget that he is lvl 41, so he isn't a veteran of the game.So i am 99% sure, he won't play like a god. he either had a thicc stash and many units, or it can't be done.

I've ranked up 4*'s knowing that while my future is 5/6*'s - I need certain champs for synergy purposes - and if I'm rolling w. a 4* champ on my squad of 5*'s for that purpose I want them to be r5 max / max sa ~ so if I do use them while clearing a path they are a viable option. I have spent hundreds (if not more) in this game and Kabam has turned around and slapped me in the face - and then slugged me in the gut dropping me to the ground while laughing & urinating on me and calling me a stupid pitiful fool - that's how it feels .. after I have supported this company financially for so long 🤬

absolutely horrible and in all reality ~ quite possibly fraudulent on their part.

Thats my guess, but it can easily be done with cap iw, and a odin.

I think by 4* he meant cap iw as he was 4:40 equivalent and as for kilmonger you don’t need a power control champ just make it so you can bait a special and bring him to 0 power before activating reverb

Would you take 5/50 sig 99 OGV or 5/65 unduped OGV?

Would you use ur 4* or 5* mutant AG on archangel? Probably only 4* version since 4* AG arnt that rare and they do the job. Synergies are barely 25% of the whole fiasco about not being able to bring 4* in there.

Will you bring sig 20 CAIW 5/65 (u dont have stones) or sig 99 5/50 to control power or so?

Consider EVERYTHING before presenting an argument. Some 4* are better than 5* and now that they dont matter, you need to have GREAT LUCK and RnG to get those rankup resources and champions for act 6? Why? just cuz u cant bring ur 4*s in that do the job?

I would not take a 4* to act 6 PERIOD, he would not survive those PIs on the long paths acts have. i would wait to do act 6 instead.. I have considered everything, I would recommend you taking your own advice. The only reason to complain is because is synergies, and that is a weak complaint, imo.

You would be spending way more than 200 if you used 4*s or less on act 6, unless you are perfect at intercept.

Would you use ur 4* or 5* mutant AG on archangel? Probably only 4* version since 4* AG arnt that rare and they do the job. Synergies are barely 25% of the whole fiasco about not being able to bring 4* in there.

Will you bring sig 20 CAIW 5/65 (u dont have stones) or sig 99 5/50 to control power or so?

Consider EVERYTHING before presenting an argument. Some 4* are better than 5* and now that they dont matter, you need to have GREAT LUCK and RnG to get those rankup resources and champions for act 6? Why? just cuz u cant bring ur 4*s in that do the job?
I would not take a 4* to act 6 PERIOD, he would not survive those PIs on the long paths acts have. i would wait to do act 6 instead.. I have considered everything, I would recommend you taking your own advice. The only reason to complain is because is synergies, and that is a weak complaint, imo.

They only go up to around 30k pi if you just parry and intercept you won’t twke that much damage

How many of us have spent hundreds if not thousands in the game buying offers to actually rank up 4 stars that have long term viability for future content? I've ranked up 4*'s knowing that while my future is 5/6*'s - I need certain champs for synergy purposes - and if I'm rolling w. a 4* champ on my squad of 5*'s for that purpose I want them to be r5 max / max sa ~ so if I do use them while clearing a path they are a viable option. I have spent hundreds (if not more) in this game and Kabam has turned around and slapped me in the face - and then slugged me in the gut dropping me to the ground while laughing & urinating on me and calling me a stupid pitiful fool - that's how it feels .. after I have supported this company financially for so long 🤬

I just gave u tons of options above and u still say im only talking about synergies? You think archangel wont survive in act 6? 28k PI is only around 115k hp. My 5/50 did pretty good in variant. I tookout 1.3 ultron caltrops boss with 4/40 iceman in 2 revives which is dang awesome considering there is 50% reduced attack but oh man I am sorry, 4* are too OP, let people only take 5 n 6*

If you wont take 4* in act 6, it means u dont think u are skilled enough. Which is ok, but that doesnt mean other skilled players should face this restriction

Btw, how many units did ya use to 100%, or did ya wasted your whole stash?
Shallow evade dorm to prevent degen and keep kilmonger at low power to stop reverb
He doesn't have any power control champion for km, or a solid armor break champ so he will end up dying to him, making him waste some revives, and for Dorm, with his 4* rank 1, he will die of block dmg.
Don't forget that he is lvl 41, so he isn't a veteran of the game.So i am 99% sure, he won't play like a god. he either had a thicc stash and many units, or it can't be done.
I think by 4* he meant cap iw as he was 4:40 equivalent and as for kilmonger you don’t need a power control champ just make it so you can bait a special and bring him to 0 power before activating reverb

Then, i would like you to try and take out epic difficultly with one 4/40 and 1/10 4* champions, without wasting resources, and then send a pic, so we can see how far you (supposing you are an experienced lvl 60 player) go.
Also don't forget his only option was cap iw unduped, and he didn't had counters for the more difficult champs that appeared in the quest, one mistake could cost ya the match.

Have you used 4*s in Uncollected? Last chapter? If you have, you have contradicted yourself. Chapter 3 of Uncollected features a lot of the PI's that we will see in Act 6. Are you saying that we CAN use 4* in Uncollected but CANNOT in Act 6? Doesn't make sense to me.

the limits on 5-6* might be bad for people, who want some challenge. say you have r5 5* domino, but she kills enemies to fast. and you can't bring 4* or 3* to make some fancy youtube videos. so... it would be nice to see RDTs!

I’ll be straight with you

• I play from early 2015 - I was actually targeted in advertising kick-off for playing Injustice, and I tried to hack iTunes to get in the store for Denmark because the game wasn’t available in Greece then.

• I have a 6*ghost R2, and a 5* wasp, and a 5* Ant-man

• also a 5* Blade and a 5* Stark Spidey both duped.

• and a 5* Omega duped, a 6* SB, a 6* RS, a 5* Rhulk, a 5* Mephisto

and almost all my synergies in place.

• I’m part of a 20mil alliance, gold 1, doing map 5 and 6.

• I’m paying an average of 50-100euros per month because I believe that 3 hours of entertainment per day worth it, and I’ve paid 300 for 5* Vision duped, Odins, Cat5 etc.

I’m pretty sure I am not going to have a problem to progress through chapter 6.

But still, I am seriously considering quitting the game.

Not for any other reason than that this is a turning point where player’s skill and even luck is becoming irrelevant, by the decision to take out 4* from the picture.

The developer can create any content he likes, and you’re free to take it up or not. They define the champions, the PI, the nodes, the drop rates in the crystals, the rewards, practically everything. Even the requirements, yes, we are all right with that.

You take what you are given. That’s it. I’m in.

But what you are given is not supposed to be taken away, at least directly, and this is what’s happening right now, because you where given the synergies as a tool, unique synergies are what the game is about last 2 years, and now you are being seriously robbed out of it, randomly nerfing a massive amount of accounts, no retribution, no discount for 5* crystals, no lubricant, no nothing.

And it’s actually done out of a combination of greed and incompetency.

Greed to produce new amazing champions that will smash through anything making lucrative crystals, and incompetency to come up with challenges hard enough for these amazing champions. Hence, you get 4* banned, because it’s the closer they might be able to get away with, to massively nerf almost every account in the game, in one way or the other.

You take what you are given. I get it. I’m in.

Surely you aren’t suggesting there should be a 100% LoL/Variant/Maze requirement for Act 6, just like RttL is a prequisite for LoL...?

Not saying there is a direct requirement but maybe the Devs had that general idea of roster readiness in mind before Act 6 as it looks like T5CC is being introduced finally which is a reward tier above all other contest so far.

Surely if your roster is healthy enough to complete the other game modes 100% you should be ready for Act 6. I'm sure there are some exceptions of course. But why wouldn't you want to complete those before going into Act 6 anyway as it does help your roster overall with rank up materials alone (again unless your RNG is terrible which I have said I empathize with)?
