Is there any advantage of leveling up champs with Class ISO over basic ISO?

If you match class ISO to the right class the ISO gives more "level up" points. It's in your intrested tot match as you can

Yes! Class ISO gives 50% more ISO-8 points when leveling up a champion of that class, so for example a 5000 class ISO would grant 7500 points instead of just 5000.

Would it just be faster in terms of leveling up, or would the total points in a fully leveled up champ at the end be higher too?

Ok that's a big help. I have a ton of basic ISO but have been holding off leveling up my better champs until i had their class ISO.

Although it does seem like when I level up with class ISO, the points increase is a little more than basic ISO. Maybe it's just that particular champ.

It also costs less gold to level up with class iso than basic iso. That's the biggest benefit IMO.
