3 time AW season champs against a middling Plat3 alliance with a war rating difference of over 700 points.

will there be any compensation or any justice for alliances who faced these "grandmaster" for past wars?

its already halfway through the season and this is just now being fixed. I know that they have had these "grandmaster" names for awhile, we all know the intent and ofcourse its same just as llllllll name fiasco.

they basically won wars using this names and we all know this is against the rules, will aw points be compensated allainces who loss vs this particular alliance shouldn't even get the points that they "won" for this current season.

the allainces who "loss" to this particular alliance needs some sort compensation...

we know a recent alliance was given back points, and we all know you guys can take away points.

alliance rating is not an indicator at all of strength and peeps need to stop thinking it is.
we are in t6.
we are 14.5mil
our last 2 wars have been against 15 mil allies.
great on paper.
but in practice they have seriously outmatched us.

our best players(only 4 peeps) have 1 x 5/65 champ and our worst have only 1 4/55.
we have many peep still with 5/50 in their profile. a lot of our guys have only 1 or 2 4/55
the allies we are fighting all have much bigger rosters.
almost everyone has a 5/65. many have 2 or 3. every single player has only 4/55 in profile.

so defense is like this
US: one or 2 5/65 a few 4/55 an mostly of 3/45 and 5/50
THEM: a 5/65, almost al 4/55 and a few 3/45

attack
US: some guys 4/55 and 3/45, some guys many 5/50
THEM: all 5/65 and 4/55

we are clearly outmatched on actual strength in attack and defense.
but on paper both ALLIANCE rating and WAR rating are same.

i am not complaining bout this. just pointing out to peeps ally rating means nothing

But they used a method that would benefit them against the rules and Tos

How fan u sanction a battle when the battlefield isnt even?

They clearly have an advantage and if u cant get that, then you obviously never fought an alliance like that.

War Rating/Alliance Rating will never be able to pair alliances fairly, its impossible to do so with there being so many ways go exploit the system.

I doubt there would be a viable solution that can make everyone happy, it's not like there's a system to gather the stats of a players top champs and use that to determine that alliances strength and then find another alliance with similar strength

I guess the war matchmaking system is still under develpoment...

My alliance is a top gold 1 alliance that arrived in tiers 3 some times ago, just after the season 9
Our alliance has a war rating of 2600 and an alliance rating of 20 millions with 30 members. We are not the best but we have some pretty nice champions to put in defense.

The first war of the season was nice as we fought against an alliance with a war rating of 2520 with an alliance rating of 21 millions for 30 members, and we won

Second war we are against an alliance with a war rating 2618 (pretty good and of our rating) BUT an alliance Rating of more than 31 millions for only 29 members ! 1.5 times our alliance rating !!!
Of course their defenders are all 5R5 sig 200 or 6R2 duped with all the newer champions and guess what... we are loosing
There is no challenge in this war, no fun. Even with our skill we are no match for our opponent

Maybe you could take the alliance rating into account in your war matchmaking system so middle tiers alliance like mine don't find itself facing a god tiers alliance without any possibility to win...

All we can do is to try to make the maximum points as we know this war is already over

I disagree if you are in tier 3 you deserve to fight other tier 3 and similar war rating alliances, alliance rating means nothing as when this was a factor (we think) alliances were selling all their low champs to look weak. You actually have a good advantage in diversity and defender killsnas they only have 29. PS you could lose every war this season, as long as you 100% and still be in gold 1 easily, so you really shouldn't worry so much

Deserving fighting other Tiers 3 OK no problem with that
Loosing against a better alliance of our level OK, no problem with that either
Being put against an alliance that that use credit card to get every new champion and upgrade them 5R5 sig 200 NO WAY
As for the war rating, some alliance just go down during inter season just to have weaker alliance to fight during the season. If alliance rating means nothing, Kabam should make sure war rating freeze during inter season to avoid such strategy
