So is it right CCP get to practice legends runs to see which champs are faster and the rest of us going for a legends run who aren't CCP members just have to go in and hope for the best?

They use to use their own items to showcase champions and hard fights etc… perks of the job.
Karatemiike does multiple champion videos on older champs…same with seatin or brian grant..or when lagacy literally did an abyss clear to showcase stryfe’s viability
So its cool when they do stuff for u but one little test in a quest which isnt even the quest in question about the legend run and suddenly he is misusing the testing server..Bravo
Lags missed the last mythic title with all the same stuff he has now. Move on.
But this isn’t a good point, saying well he failed anyway even with the advantage - so there’s no advantage - is like saying well the steroid taking athlete still lost, so I guess steroids don’t help athletes win.
There are many reasons lagacy may have missed out on the title, and without access to the beta, who knows, maybe he would have taken even longer.
He has the disadvantage of mercs.... While normal summoners have both disadvantage of mercs and ccp/beta users...... Also I am not against youtubers as they have helped me a lot..... But still it is not fair to others....
As far as 7.2 goes he have no disadvantage against mercs but still have advantage against those who don't have access to 7.2 on beta or ccp!!!
Before you suggest it, no one is going to willingly give up the chance at legends run to be a part of the CCP.
The game makes no attempt to provide an absolutely level playing field. Different players will get different things out of the game depending on what they put in. Whales are going to get a big pile of stuff non-whales don't get. Arena grinders will translate their hours of grind into lots of resources other players will not get. Dedicated players who practice their combat skills will get much farther much faster than players who don't. If you decide to become a content creator of this game, and you contribute positively to the game community, and you're willing to participate in the Content Creator Program in a meaningful way, you'll gain access to resources that will make it easier for you to continue to produce that content. Some of those resources will also happen to confer in-game advantages. Other parts of the program will likely generate in-game disadvantages, if for no other reason than due to time expenditures.
Kabam thinks that's a fair exchange, the CCP members think that's a fair exchange (or they wouldn't voluntarily participate) and if there are people who think this is an unfair exchange, well that's unfortunate for them. I can't personally think of a content creator that looks to have gotten significantly more out of the program than they are contributing to it and the community as a whole. If someone thinks the advantages outweigh the costs, they should attempt to become a content creator and qualify for the program.
Just to clear something up, 7.2 has never been available on the CCP Beta server for a single second.
Disqualifying beta testers from legends run = making the beta test less effective since the people likely going for the legends run are the most experienced players who usually have the best insights and roster to handle the yet-to-be-introduced content.
If the OP is salty because he didn’t get the title because there are some CCP members who got it, seriously, get good.
You don’t cry that it’s unfair when some players volunteered their time to help the ENTIRE community test out new content. It’s an advantage I’ll gladly give them.
(Side note: there’s no proof that VPN users were not disqualified from the 7.1 runs, neither is there proof that they were not. But from how relatively clean the top 100 is compared to before, it’s definitely an improvement.)
