It seems entirely possible that they put the greater crystal prizes in the superior crystals, really shocking how bad the contents were. Saved for months and extremely disappointed. Was thinking of putting in $100 to get to the isophene level and after opening 40 and getting less than half of a 7* (!) there’s just no way.

If only people could read
-
They never wrote the rules down or said it would work differently than the other objectives, so it’s not a reading issue
-
That sucks, I wasn’t this careful but to get screwed not just by the manipulative event design but by a bug Kabam won’t acknowledge must be infuriating
-
You did spend money, so from their perspective this intentionally misleading design worked. In interface design this is called a “dark pattern.”
-
They don’t care, and there are like three manic trolls who will harass everyone who’s upset about it. IMO they intentionally made it different from the regular daily objectives and special objectives and didn’t explain that fact to induce players to spend. Maybe their metrics show that it worked, but on here it sounds like…
-
People would feel differently if *the rules were actually written anywhere.* You can’t read what the company doesn’t write.
-
It’s meant to. You’re supposed to feel like **** and you’re supposed to pay to make up for it. Explaining how it worked in advance or putting accurate timers or allowing the objectives to stack like they do for the regular ones would reduce the number of people experiencing this.
-
You say the huge cost incurred by an unexplained interface quirk is a “design flaw,” but it seems clear after reading Miike’s comments that it is a deliberate strategy to induce spending. What else could it mean that they wouldn’t have made the rewards as good if there were grace days? Explaining the mechanics would result…
-
Nobody is saying that the effort was unreasonable, it’s that the rules were unclear, not explained anywhere, and different from the way they usually work, which screwed over a bunch of people
-
Not only does the daily objectives tab feature objectives that stack over multiple days, but the special objectives tab also has objectives that stack over multiple weeks, with new ones added even if you haven’t completed the old ones
-
Yep so if you don’t get around to a particular game mode on a given day you don’t miss out. Also if you don’t log in for a full 24 hours I’m pretty sure you don’t get the objective, which is what the in game message said (ie that you must log in daily to get all the rewards, not that you have to navigate the undeclared…
-
If it worked this way — accumulating for a couple days — that would satisfy the people complaining here, and would, you know, be what we have been trained to expect over years of playing this game
-
Productive solution 👍
-
Daily objectives, the ones we get every day and have for years, stack for multiple days in a row. There’s no reason anyone would have to expect these daily objectives to work differently from those daily objectives.
-
Just highlighting that players can be reasonably confused by the terrible communication, and that dragging people who missed out on really significant rewards over the inconsistencies in how the game functions with no notice is uncalled for
-
Plus daily objectives do not typically need to be completed on the day they come in, they add the daily objectives in that tab over 3 days.
-
Mike, the regular daily objectives do stack (up to 3 days). When players are saying that they expected them to work the same way, this is what we mean.
-
The one that says the objectives start on the 28th?
-
It doesn’t take a long time, it just *didn’t say anywhere that you had to do that*
-
You could read everything they sent carefully and get totally unaware by this, as many did.
-
If there was any indication that they didn’t stack as the daily objectives do or that they had to be claimed for new ones to appear it would be a different situation. Yes it’s easy, treating people like they are idiots when it was badly designed and not explained at all is disrespectful.
-
It’s not a question of effort, but of not having the rules explained anywhere and getting screwed by that
-
It didn’t have a 24 hour timer
-
Because they sensibly designed it to allow you to miss up to 2 of the objectives, which they didn’t do this time
-
Seems fair to me
-
They keep adding more Maze objectives on top of the other ones that don’t expire. There’s no way to know what’s going to stack or not. They could put a timer so they expire, or they could give some flexibility or grace days, or they could make them stack the way daily objectives do. Having people lose a rank 3 over not…
-
It works differently from the daily objectives that are there all the time, which stack even if you didn’t do one the day before
-
Where does it say the max number?
-
You miss 150k from the solo milestones
