Our alliance is doing the same, except we sit at Gold 4/5. Most could give a **** about war. Those who participate use the 40% revives as needed, and somehow we just keep hanging in there at Gold 5 at the very worst.

I can win rounds in BG using LC for fights that he shouldn’t even be good for. I think that you are living in the pre-buff past.

People have been taking Warlock against him. I didn’t even realize until after all four runs that a robot eliminates reverse controls. Also notable are Juggernaut or Spider-Ham (if you can handle the reverse controls).

Titania was my MVP in 8.4, apart from the final boss. I’d go with her.

Yeah, my alliance is pretty upset about these Magic Thief fights. Even our most laid back are ready throw in the towel on war, and some are saying they are ready to quit the game.

I just want a darn awakening gem between 8.4 exploration, Act 8 exploration, or Spring Cleaning. Why are these so impossible to obtain?

I think you should just suck it up and spend the 5k units this one time. Get your dupe out of it to justify the expense (not that Deathless Guillotine is even good). Then try to keep up from here on out. I don’t know that any of them will even be good, but at least now we know that it will be possible to awaken them…

I love using Titania as well. I’ll have to check that synergy. The fact that he’s a potential alternative to Herc says a lot. Maybe I shouldn’t have passed on him. 😞

Is this guy supposed to be really good? I passed on purchasing the 6*. Nobody was screaming at the time that he was a game-breaker.

The site has been insanely useful. I just went there to check some info on Dust, and she’s not there. I can’t recall a time when information on the latest champs was not added within a month of release.

Don’t tell me that OS does this, because the incinerates take a while to put on, don’t last long, and are often plasmas instead. As for utility: incinerate and coldsnap immune, reverse controls…

I don’t think that anybody likes Magic Thief in war. If they say that they do, I think they are just kissing Kabam’s butt. I have alliance members quitting over this garbage, because it’s the straw that broke the camel’s back (more like an anvil). It’s not cool.

I foresee a lot more complaints coming once everyone has had their first taste of a Magic Thief enhanced NF on war defense. It’s completely ridiculous, where this buff alone makes for an impossible defender. Imagine him also on a node that is difficult in itself.

It is insane. I got stuck on a NF with Hazard Shift in war. It became impossible to remove the indestructible buffs at a rate faster than he would gain them, and so he didn’t even lose health in second form.

If you are now going to complain that WoW was too easy, then I’ve lost all respect. No, that’s not what happened here. It’s that WoW Abs Man was so damn difficult that no future WoW fight will even compare. The fight was fine as is.

It was insanely hard with Sandman. You have to finagle your way to throwing an SP2, which means playing very passively and being absolutely sure to counter Abs Man’s specials. After that, just play perfectly while spamming SP2, and Abs Man won’t be able to go unstoppable or heal at all. It’s definitely doable with 20…

The relic deals of a type never seen before, and they are fairly inexpensive. The rest are extremely meh.

This actually makes the units for money deal worth it. The 7* crystals are not bad, but these crystals romance potions/revives are timeless and have a high stack limit. It’s nice to keep some in the back pocket, like for when new Carina’s objectives and hard WoW content get released simultaneously …

It’s not you. It’s them. Abs Man is OP. The objective fights were hard AF and cost me all of the revives that I had saved up. Don’t let it get you down, and consider skipping the #Robot objective. TBH, I really wish that I hadn’t gone right at it and instead waited for the community backlash. That fight needs a nerf, because I imagine that it will also be in an upcoming overall gauntlet. Imagine having to do it with Thunderbolts or something.
