He’s saying that it is pretty obvious that rewards that could easily have been obtained within a certain timeframe but cannot be due to not being available are effectively lost rewards. AQ is about as close to automatic (no effort) rewards as it ge…

Wouldn’t you want to just use Doom with MD, and throw an SP3 every 5 seconds?
-
HTD and Crossbones are both looking like viable high damage utility champs.
-
Maybe we are not all reading or maybe not all understanding the HTD buff. He actually looks like he’s going to be good. Keep in mind that his debuffs fall off one at a time, meaning that you get a fury each time you parry and will continue to stac…

I thought that the MASH mechanic was going to get annoying to have to do, but it appears that you can set auto-MASH for every fight. Now I think I’m going to use this champ. He looks like a damage dealing Swiss Army knife, especially with his evad…

This seems like a major improvement to the previous reckless strategy of ranking up champs based entirely on their buff announcements, only to find out that the buffs are disappointing. Instead, we could randomly pick a sucky champ to rank out of f…

Bear with me on this. These are not all the best in their class (although some are), but they synergize well, have 95% of the essential utility, and easily handle 5/6 of Cavalier (except for mutant): Doom, Torch, Mole, Surfer, Warlock nullify, po…

I was hoping for a buff rather than a synergy. I recently put SS on my team for synergies in a Doom/Torch combo.
-
The pattern seems to be that any champ that was buffed in terms of both utility and damage became quite useable, if not desirable. While they can’t all be God Tier, many are: Magneto, Angela, Colossus, Kingpin, Mole Man, HB, Falcon, etc. We also …

I think this would be the least of my concerns with Silver Surfer. I still want to like him or find a reason to use him, but it’s just so hard to do.
-
The ability to place Korg on Node 23 in AW.
-
Kingpin is the most well-rounded and insanely sustainable. The others can’t do what he does, which is clearing entire lanes at full health (assuming Willpower). For annoying defenders though, Falcon handles so much of that with ease.
-
I never read the nodes. Maybe life would be easier if I did. My way of getting through this boss without frustration was to use Warlock to clear every lane, lose hardly any health, and then beat the hell out Mangog with all 5 champs until he killed…

Funny how after all the fuss, The Hood doesn’t even get put on the list. Obviously, he isn’t a top mystic with or without a “buff”.
-
Unfortunately, the reverted Hood still sucks too much in regards to damage to be a viable option for longer fights. If only the bullet mechanic had simply been added to what he already was to boost his damage by 50-100%, or whatever it added. That…
-
I found it best to combine him with NF and CMM, or else his fury duration gets a bit frustrating.
-
Sadly, I did rank “buffed” Hood thinking that his regeneration would be useful for questing. Within hours, I saw the announcement that the regeneration was merely a “bug” and going to be reverted. I sent a ticket to Kabam requesting my materials b…

You guys realize that his great regen just got nerfed, don’t you? The 50% increased damage output does it for you then?
-
Without the redeeming regeneration, he is really nothing at all. The damage is still pretty mediocre, and he’s no longer among the best nullfiers. Is it the invisibility for you?
-
Geez, now that the awesome regeneration is being taken away (“bug fix”), what is the value in The Hood? I’d say that was the only thing that made it arguable about whether they should have just left him alone. I’ll go ahead and be really mad with …

I didn’t think Air Walker was all that great at all, and where is his buff?
-
I’m pretty sure that CMM is the best option for the latest Cavalier node, greatly benefiting a champ that keeps multiple stacks of armor break up. Other than that, Hype.
-
Hood is no longer a top buff remover, but he is a regen and stagger machine with decent damage. ⚖️
-
Well, after reading all of this, it seems like the changes are nice for what they are (i.e. excellent regen and stagger machine), but the loss of the fate seal will never be ok with many. Kabam needs to be petitioned to put the fate seal back on th…
-
He heals quite a bit (every time a stagger refreshes) while also keeping most of the buffs off, which is apples to oranges regarding those champs you mentioned. While he might not be your go to for regular fights, you might want to consider it. He…
-
Yes, the fate seal was nerfed, and he can’t be used for that now. Just try him out in a regular fight though. He’s good for general gameplay and actually a little crazy so long as Kabam hasn’t accidentally bugged him. He has pretty nice damage, g…

He might be a different champ, but he seems really good. It’s not that hard to keep up the charges and finish with more than you started with via SP1 spam and invisibility. You actually gain a charge per missed hit, which could end up being 3-4. …
-
Correction: spam SP1 if you want to stack bullets fast. I’m not sure why is does that, looking at the descriptions. Maybe it has not been updated yet. Anyway, I finished a medium length non-buff fight with 55 bullets by doing that.
-
Ok, hate me. I understand the loss of core utility, but The Hood is not too bad and kind of fun to play. He doesn’t need to nullify buffs to keep charges if you use SP3 and keep invisibility going, forcing misses. I was ending the fight with 30+ …
