Exactly this. Once the you get the heavy dex/tap timing down, its actually a really fun fight. Used a few reviews that were expiring,. Could have been solos, but I'm impatient

Your best bet is to watch a few videos to get an idea of who works for each fight. Compare those to your roster. You mentioned below average skill & at what point does it become a waste when you're just throwing revives at most fights

I went through the same thing w/ Onslaught, Dazzler(when I get her) & Sinister. Onslaught is in basic, Dazzler will be available at some point, but there has been no mention of another way to get Sinister, so I went with him. The red circle top right is his rock stacks counter. Once he gets to 15, he goes unstoppable. An easy way, although never foolproof, is to parry, hit him 5 times. Parry again, hit 5 more & repeat. Went through same dilemma. Both Dazzler & onslaught have chances to be obtained through crystals. Small chance, but a chance. Who knows if we'll see a chance to pull Sinister again
