The red circle top right is his rock stacks counter. Once he gets to 15, he goes unstoppable. An easy way, although never foolproof, is to parry, hit him 5 times. Parry again, hit 5 more & repeat. Now he's at 15. Once he gets to 15, if you hit him again, he goes unstoppable. So, at 15 rock stacks, have him throw a special, which will reset the rock stack counter. Also, if you hit him while he's blocking, you can increase the counter by 1 per hit. For example, he's at 12, but doesn't have a bar of power. A few hits into block bringing him over a bar of power. He throws special resetting counter. There should be plenty of YouTube videos on how to fight defenders out there. YouTube is your best friend...

Or just use a unstoppable counter until you get good in the game. Common counters include champs who inflict slow debuffs, like shang chi and red guardian, champs with neutralize effects, like wiccan and rintrah, champs with decelerate effects, like zemo and spiderman, or champs with Defensive ability accuracy reduction like black cat, crossbones etc. It's better to use counters instead of playing around a champ if you're a beginner.

    BTW your advice was nice.

I have a rintrah from the list you mentioned. The cow was flattened.
So watch out for the rock counts and have him throuw a special before it goes to 3 green bars.?

    Ok you're at collectoe congrats.

And sorry to break the bad news to you, it's going to be a revive fest. Just try deal as much as damage possible before dying. Also when he reach health percentages like 80%, 60%, 40% and 20% he'll get a regen buff so try to outdamage it. Similarly when below 10% he goes randomly unstoppable so be mindful when hitting him and good luck.

I gotta say based on this thread, I think you need to spend some time really learning how the game works before you start trying to push content. It's only going to cost you revives if you keep pushing through without reading nodes and understanding how to fight certain defenders. It's all well people explaining how to fight each defender you come up against as you go bur it would be better for you to really try and learn what to look for in nodes and defender kits. This isn't a criticism it's just the only way you're going to progress

To add to this, both champions have what is commonly referred to as the buff bar, which are a collection of icons below the health bar of the champions. These contain icons that represent the buffs, debuffs, and passive effects that currently exist on that champion. When there is some special mechanics like rock stacks for Thing, they often have counters or timers that also display there for players to observe and monitor.

It takes a while to learn what the different icons are and what they represent. A general rule of thumb is that icons surrounded by a strong border are buffs while those that aren't are passive effects. Effects that are temporary show a clock face-like progression to indicate when they are going to expire. If you pause the game (the green pause button top center of the screen during combat) there will be a display that shows what each icon means.

Got it. Yes i have been observing those lately. Buffs are like super powers of some sort if i understand correctly. Some has a timer thing others are there when the bout starts.
    1. When you say passive effect, is it like similar to buff or ?
    2. I played moonstar in incusrsions. Went through her nodes. It said the attacker will lose x % of power when attackung and soon no mattet what i hit her with , i was losing energy faster then her. Tried science, skill and mystical. How do you deal with this?
    3. In abrogation, there is the collector in the last phase and his class is superior from all the fighters i had. I blocked all his attacks only to get KO. The last screen shot was of that. How do i fight him?
