So you’ve only duped about 29 6-star champs in the past 6 months? And no max-sig dupes? I don’t know if I would say that qualifies as “seasoned paragon”. A couple people in my alliance have 10 times that many. And they aren’t whales, by any means.

The Apothecary looks like total garbage. Especially the Easy difficulty. What does anybody need 375 HP for? That doesn’t even move the needle for brand new players, let alone anybody else. Yeah, they are pretty limiting and frustrating nodes. In a pretty frustrating game mode already. I’m sure some of the top players are enjoying the challenge and using some different champs, but I’m definitely not enjoying it so far.

Yeah, the matchmaking is awful. My alliance is Plat 4 in AW and Top 250 in AQ, but most of us can’t even get out of the Gold Tiers because we get matched against stacked accounts with all the newest champs. Ridiculous.

Because then people would just fill a deck full of 5-star r4’s and pick on newly Uncollected players. The whole system needs a bigger change. Part of the problem is that everybody starts back at the same spot each season. That is dumb and shouldn’t happen. And it forces Kabam to implement goofy matchmaking algorithms so people get matched somewhat fairly. Seems like a pretty weak update to me. Prices for T5CC, T3A and T6B seem too high. Yep. I notice it mostly on the very first time I try to backdraft after placing the infuriate. It’s like there is a delay and the AI just walks forward for a second sometimes.

Lol, it’s not “just for gold.” In most of that content I listed, I would say gold is an afterthought compared to the catalyst, shards and/or units you earn.

That’s an interesting data point. And it seems reasonable, considering my numbers above don’t include side quests, arena grinding or permanent/special content. But I would also guess that 11 million per month is probably on the higher end for people in this game.

So, it looks like I missed at least 2 things: 1. AQ actually does give gold if you run Map 6 or lower. It’s in the completion rewards. 6.5k and 2,225 Battlechips for Map 5, then 7k for Map 6. Does it also make you wonder how common modders are in AW? We just didn’t have any sort of view into that before. And for that matter modding in all parts of the game could be biasing some of the stats that Kabam looks at to decide on stuff like Champion balances and compensation for bugs.
