  • No, she's still amazing.
  • Yes, but... Since it's a case of regeneration causing better bleed accuracy: Bishop regenerates but can't inflict bleed; Apocalypse only regenerates in the first second of the fight. So it's not really very useful for them. It might theoretically be helpful for Platinumpool if he draws the right cards, and would probably…
  • He doesn't get little bursts of damage; but he does hit extra hard on all attacks, because he reduces the opponent's Armour Rating by his Crit Rating (2935, at 7*R1). Like others have said, no. Glancing doesn't only affect critical hits. It prevents hits from being critical, and it reduces Ability Accuracy by 100%. If…
  • He might not be a hard-hitter on Attack, but weakest in the game? I think there's probably a hundred champions who would disagree.
  • Why on Earth would you want him, over the extra Titan shards?
  • He is annoying. But if you think you hate him, just wait till you run into Kindred 😬
  • I still like to use them in Thronebreaker EQ and Incursions. And yes, you can even use them in Winter of Woe/Eternity of Pain (I know I have). I have to say, they'd be more relevant if Kabam were putting Tier-1 dust into rewards for Paragon/Valiant players.
  • Seriously, though. If you're feeling jaded about the results before you've even done it, that's an early sign of burnout. Take it slow, don't rush in (you're already Valiant) and have a bit more time off. If you still want to play, and find challenges for yourself, are there Variants you haven't completed? Used all your…
  • Oh, Moose 😢 I felt so sad after reading this, I wanted to make you happy. So I got in touch with a wizard that I know; and to accompany your tiny violin, he's going to give you a twelve-inch pianist.. 😉
  • I'm not sure I'd rely on it, when Attacking. But it's something to watch out for, if he's the defender. Throw the SP3 when he's dashing in, and you'll seriously regret it... 😉
  • Okay, this fight utterly, utterly sucks. Throwing both Root and Reversed Controls on a piece of pure nastiness like Kindred? There's not a tiny margin for error, against one of the nastiest ultra-defenders Kabam has introduced in the last year. All this for a few shards, and a 6* Awakening Gem to add to my collection? I…
  • She's very, very bad for it. Jessica inflicts debuffs every time the opponent throws a special, which combines badly with the Redoubled Determination node. At 10 Investigation, she's actually giving Kindred +650% Attack any time he throws a Special...🥺
  • If he's attacking, then Namor can survive an SP3, at high Sig. Others with Indestructible abilities would include Titania, Punisher, Jessica Jones, Hela, Immortal Hulk, and Mephisto. Other champs with surprising damage mitigation abilities that may enable them to survive an SP3 would be Cassie Lang, and Yondu.
  • I finished 100%ing 8.3.6 last night, in preparation for 8.4. I noticed a visual bug where on the Preview map, you'd see 1000 6* shards, but in the real map it would be 750 7* shards.
  • Enhanced Abilities is always a surprising one; when you're expecting an opponents Evade or Power Gain to be shut off. For me, it's more often the other issue; when a champion's abilities shut down a helpful node - taking Magneto into Thronebreaker EQ and expecting him to gain lots of Power/Prowess/Fury effects and smoke…
  • Play him with Longshot, and he actually gets a bit of utility against Power Gain opponents 🙂 Always good to see someone ranking up unusual champions.
  • It seems like Kabam have changed the acceptable amount of editing code that's 'acceptable' in posts - I haven't been able to get any new designs past Approval Hell in months...😢. Oh well - it was a bit of fun while it lasted.
  • Consider that Passive bleeds don't benefit from Deep Wounds; and bleeds with a shorter base duration benefit more from DW than bleeds with a longer base duration. Also, the bleed has the additional Utility that it effectively Heal Blocks, steals the health gain that's blocked, then Nullifies any Regen buffs. So that's…
  • Cleanse removes debuffs as they're applied. So it won't remove debuffs that you're already carrying. This is from her official description: Source: https://playcontestofchampions.com/news/cheeilth/
  • She's not in there. She's a trophy champ, found in Gifting/Banquet crystals, and very occasionally in other special crystals/selectors.
  • Labyrinth itself doesn't need updated; although given the existence of lots of walk-throughs, it would be helpful if they removed the camera lock; to help anyone involved to explore it, to avoid mistakes.
  • I went with Dr Strange, as it's long past time Kabam came good on the promise they made post-12.0 that these would all remain top champions 😐. On a more constructive note, if anyone is bored, and wants to kill time with a read-through, I've got rework suggestions for 8/10 of those champions (and more) in this Suggestions…
  • I used to think that - in fact, there's no rule that his web-canisters need you to throw an MLLLL combo: if you have maxed Pacify, he can manage Mixmaster with an LLLML combo. As long as you're running max Stupefy and the opponent isn't running maxed Limber, it works fine. So the LLLML combo will be reliable in Quests and…
  • I'm trying out running it right now, since they introduced the ability to have Mastery loadouts. I opened it a while back for Mr Negative; but then I didn't use him enough; and the free Willpower healing was problematic in Arenas/BGs/War. However, since you can now have a separate War loadout, I'm trying it out again as I…
  • On the whole, I'd go Bishop - he was my first r3, too. Interesting to see Terrax even in the mix there - I use him sometimes in AQ, too; he can do most of the fights Hulkling/Galan can do; plus Bleed/Shock paths. He's definitely underrated as an attacker; and in fights where you can spam between SP3/SP2s, he gets really…
  • Anyone works on Hulkling - it's actually a pure skill fight. It does get easier with a champ who gives your openings like Elsa, Kate, Dani, Viv. But ultimately, it's all about timing, spacing, and lining up your knockdown, his buffs, your Power meter. It was actually my favourite of the lot.
  • The key point in this debate is within the OP's question: If you have enough skill. Tigra has way more potential in the hands of a really skilled user; but needs an intimate understanding of timing, and the spacing of every individual opponent's Heavy and Special Attacks. She is really hard to get the best out of, but if…
  • Looks impressive! Tagging in a friend, @Moosetiptronic
  • Give more details, and maybe we can help. Nova can get to full charges by being hit twice, if you're using a champ with True Damage, True Strike or guaranteed Crits. Wiccan's abilities sometimes interact oddly with other champs abilities; and it could be explained if he's fighting someone like Longshot...
