Havok should be a counter for limbo damage

Guys question help me out here

Havok has + 2000 energy resistance
Majik limbo does some 500+ energy damage
So technically he should be immune to limbo damage ,but takes damage just like every other champ

Can someone explain the extent to which this is applicable and the methodology

It's says resistance not that he reduces energy dmg by 2000 that's the reason I'm guessing

So it’s 500/2000*100=25
Havok takes 25 less damage from limbo ?
Shouldn’t it be 475 less damage

That isn't how resistance works...

By this logic he should even heal himself!!!!

He is highly resistent to energy damage. He is not immune, and no champion is unless certain circustances like an indestructible buff

A 5s r3 Havok has 2000 ER with a challenge rating of 100 so be takes 50% less damage from energy. Also, when fighting Magik, try to get the mastery that does an accuracy debuff while enemy stunned and stun her while she gets up to sp1 and also bait her sp1 because her sp2 has a higher proc chance.
