Featured Hero Crystal Drop Rates

I really don’t like to come on here just to be negative but for YEARS this game team has said drop rates for all champions is the same…ok. Explain to me why I’ve opened 73 featured 6 Star crystals and haven’t pulled Quicksilver not ONE DAMN TIME. Not even once. I’ve only pulled Galan, Og SW, and Negative once a piece. There is no way with a 24 champ pool someone opened over 70 crystals and misses a champ. I call bs on that.

Personally I’m at end game content and there are only a handful of champs I do not have. So when I go back to do things like gauntlet just for shards and still can’t pull one champ out of 70 some collective crystals for this featured and im just losing motivation to keep playing. It’s not fun when everything is done and all your acquisitions rely on rng that won’t help you to save your next video game life. Bro you guys should literally GIVE me the champion at this point. It’s absolutely absurd

The average number of crystals it takes to pull at least one of every one of the twenty four champs in the featured crystal is 91. That means half the players that try will need even more than that.

There is a way. A 4.5% chance.

To put it in perspective. It is more rare to flip a coin 5 times and get all heads or all tails than it is to not get a specific champ out of 73 crystals.

Getting a 6 star champ from a Cavalier is more rare than your scenario.

Odds are a per crystal basis, I’ve easily opened more then 70 and no quicksilver plus I opened 2 abyss science nexus and didn’t get him

I’m gonna put the full @DNA3000 reply regarding “91 pulls on AVERAGE to pull every champ in Feature” in here. In case @Nichoas_1 skips going over to that long debunked thread that has been going on for the last 2 days. DNA's latest reply (below) to that is very well written.

(although at that point maybe a little on the frustrated side, since the back-n-forth with those disbelievers had been dragging on a bit much by that point).

I opened about 70 featured crystals, got 6 times prof X, 5 times winter soldier, 5 times rocket raccoon, 5 man-thing, 4 X23, 3 Shang Chi dupes IN A ROW, still hunting for Gorr. And you still believe, that chance is equal?
Kabam is playing badly here, when they tell that chances are equal.

So you think your drops proves the crystal is biased towards those champs? Then how do you explain that in 69 crystals I did not pull Rocket once. Are you saying *your* crystals are biased towards Rocket and *mine* are not? That's silly. That's basically saying no matter what a player gets, that proves their crystals were biased towards what they get. It says that every crystal is biased, just coincidentally towards that it eventually drops. That's ludicrous.

And for the record, I pulled Gorr three times. Not only that, I pulled him twice in the first three pulls. Maybe Kabam knows you want Gorr, but hates you and has rigged your crystals to not contain Gorr. Just you, only you, and your crystals.

Or it is completely random, and out of 69 crystals the champ I failed to pull was Rocket, and the champ you failed to pull was Gorr, and out there among the thousands of players opening crystals there are players who failed to pull every other champ, some of whom think the crystal is rigged to specifically avoid that one champ.

Also, the *average* number of crystals it takes before you pull at least one of all twenty four champs is 91. That means some players will pull at least one of every champ before 91, but many players will take more than 91 crystals to eventually pull one of every champ, assuming they open that many. For those players, it will look like the crystal contains a deficit of the champs they never pull, but that's exactly what statistics predicts will happen.

So it stands to reason mine doesn’t want me to get qs before however many crystals and this other guys won’t let him pull rocket. Maybe that champ has a piece of utility that he doesn’t have already and so it plays that game about it ?? Idk. It’s an algorithm lol. It makes perfectly logical sense to me though. FYI I’m being fescious when I say they should just GIVE me the champ, but C’MON. 73 friggin crystals? Dude. I’ve pulled multiple champs over 5 times. Like probably 6 champs lol. What’s even MORE lame is that I’ve received a 6* science ag TWICE in the last month, and a science 3-4 from gifting. Yet I open these every other day since they came out and just nuthin.

I mean one in 5ish are featured so you'd think on average you would pull 14 features out of 70 and you actually pulled 21 out of 70.....so those are better than good odds. Just weren't the champ you wanted ....you'll get him within next couple now that you've put it out into the universe....I'm in same boat....I'm 0 for Galan and I've gotten Gorr 4x now??? Out of wayyyy less than 70....more like 20

I opened over 100 and no quicksilver or wiccan. i had profx at natural sig 200 before this crystal and pulled him 12-14 times lol. I have a lot of 7* shards i guess.

Sitting at over 50 crystals I have yet to pull a single chang chi, haven't pulled a single featured champ more than 3 times, switch and AA no more than twice each, a single QS, a single Valkyrie, a single wiccan, and have pulled rogue and profx each 8 times, and war Machine 5 times. Guess I can complain about crystals being rigged as well, instead of simply farming more shards and increasing my odds of getting what I want?

Disagree bot either (a) thinks 58 isn’t almost 60, (b) 58 actually is 70 or (c) there’s really a Gorr hiding under that numeral “0.” Or perhaps disputes the existence of featured crystals altogether?

I think the odds I would have a string of 58 pulls without a Gorr (or any single champ I haven’t pulled) is around 8.5%. Check the math, because it’s early and pre-coffee. But I don’t think that’s impossible.

I’m 99% certain it was even read off a forum post on a Prof Hof video. So it’s still very random but the algorithm is still determining the avenue. If this makes any sense. I’m not even a cpu guy in the least. So I’m out of my depth if we try to go past the surface with this. It’s just simply something I remember hearing about. To all the other guys opening a ton of crystals and missing the white whale of their desires: stay strong, brothers. We will overcome

“Each player's pulls are independent of any other player's pulls”
or
“What you get or don’t get is different from what any other player gets”

And somehow gets twisted into being “their own algorithm” (which gets further misconstrued to mean “algorithm, as in the actual probability charts, rates, etc, being specific to you, based on your team, needs, wants, etc”)

And I see you didn’t read any of Miike's official replies in that other thread.

All you need to know is this: 73 is not even close to statistically significant, while with the number of combinations of pulls you can get with 24 repeatable choices is astronomical. It stinks you didn’t get QS but not a shock either.

How is it possible to show that Kabam never said a comment? Do you expect just empty quotes or something because if so then " " <--- that right there is them not claiming that each player has their own algorithm.
