Can Kabam explain the policy for bans?

So there have been many bans to top end players after the season ended and not during the season. The ban is typically a week during the off season. How is this a deterrent to buy loaded units and commit a fraudulent behavior with most of the community is playing the game straight up?

I’m just guessing that the investigation was done after the season. But it would be more of a deterrent if they were banned during the season and they can’t collect rewards.

And don’t tell me post is against forum rules. I’m asking a question and not calling anyone out.

Well, they don't want to really hurt their main sources of income, do they?

It’s not their main source of income. It’s getting an Odin for half the cost being paid through possible criminal activity. I know for sure Kabam is against this. That isn’t the concern. The question is that all these people got great rewards and their punishment is a week off during the off season.

So again people cheat an get a slap on the wrist an keep season rewards. 7 day ban in the off season for is not a punishment

People get permanent bans for much worse. After the Core fiasco, these guys knew what they were doing. It was clear you could get a ton of units for the low cost of a 7day ban. WORTH IT!

We can't specifically speak to exactly how all situations are handled, but it is an ongoing process that takes into account both the severity of the offense and if it is a repeat offense. This happens throughout the season and not just at the end. We understand and share our players concerns about cheating in The Contest and do take the situation seriously. We will continue to monitor the situation and take action where appropriate to keep the game fair.
