Community Event Counter?

So a community event is going on right now with specific milestones established.

Is there a counter anywhere to show the status? Seems like an important feature that's currently missing. How else are we supposed to know how far away from the milestones we are?

    As mentioned in the Announcement, we will periodically send out in game messages, and will also be setting up a Forum thread that we will update every few days.

    We can't physically have a counter for this in game, though this is something we'd like for the future.

    Will there be a leaderboard also, think that would be cool just to have bragging rights as to who put in what work.
