IMIW Heals?

So I get through epic difficulty to a Mr. Fantastic boss, go in with IMIW, slip and get dropped to half hp. Afterwards I wasn't really paying attention to my hp, but I hit full power and used my sp3, soon as it ends I realize that I'm back to full hp somehow. Am I missing something or is willpower just **** broken against Fantastic?

    He gives a couple debuffs I think, that would ramp up willpower. I think I was healing like 2-3% per second part of the fight on him

    Non damaging debuffs trigger willpower.
    Like armour break or concussion

    All debuffs trigger willpower.
