Dr Doom No Crit bug

I didnt see an active thread, but i have fought doom with multiple champs and land 0 crits, unless using domino or corvius. Anyone else see this?

    Not for everyone. There are a number of champs with base crit resistance (at least 7).

    They said they weren’t giving every single champ a base block penetration and crit resist due to the 12.0 backlash, but there are quite a few individual champs with crit resist, km and Corvus have it

    That's true; but for other champs like Killmonger, it's mentioned in their spotlight.

    It's kind of a shame (and a surprise) that it's hidden away for Doom; since it's a major defense for him. As is his very high base armour (possibly the highest in the game - 1449 for a four star champ).

    You can get very occasional crits with high-critting champions like Karnak when focused.

    Just out of interest, I've just gone through the AuntM.ai website. Doom's base armour is by far the highest in the game. For a 4* 5/50:
    1. Dr Doom = 1449
    2. Thanos = 667
    3. Sentinel = 600

    Not for everyone. There are a number of champs with base crit resistance (at least 7).

    Elsa Bloodstone is the only champion with a base crit rate above 35%, being 36% against like challenge rating opponents.

    Doom's Crit Resistance is 35% against like challenge rating opponents - ie an r3 4-star Doom will have a 35% Crit Resistance against another r3 4-star.

    Typically champions tend to have a constant percent against like challenge ratings, or it scales reasonably (even 1% per rank). Against like challenge, Doom's armor scales 1% per rank within a tier. 5-Star Doom has 46% at Rank 1, and 50% at Rank 5.

    I've fought Dr. Doom at least 12 times between uncollected, master and the daily quests. The only champs that have landed a critical hit is Corvus and Modok. That seems like more than just a crit resistance to me.

    You basically need a really high crit champ or one that has guaranteed crits like Corvus or Ghost to crit against him. Crits aren’t necessary to take him down though. Damage over time effects are very effective against him. I’ve used both Hype and DV against him with success. Also Stealthy/Ronin works as they both have easily achievable precision passives that help them crit a lot.

    Agreed. Having looked through the champions list, there are quite a few champs with the means to reach critical Ratings high enough to inflict crits against Doom.

    Electro seems the best option - class advantage; his base crit rate is high; gets extremely high with his Sig ability, and he gets stronger when Shocked.

    Other 'Passive' options:
    Karnak gains +4000 Critical Rating when focused.
    Stealthy Spidey gains +2000 Crit Rating after SP1
    Ronin +3900 Crit Rating after reaching seven Cruelties

    Several of the older champs can produce Precision buffs to help them (but will need to be careful not to get them nullified!):
    Daredevil reaches 1200 Critical Rating when he's got a Precision buff; Yellowjacket gets to 1500; Cyclops to 1700; Iron Fist exceeds 1800 with his; whilst Classic Spiderman tops out around 2000.

    A couple of Cosmic options:

    Angela gets +2100 Critical Rating on Heavies; as well as between 2-3 bars of Power, and her much-maligned Awakened Ability may actually be useful against Doom...

    Cosmic Spidey gets to over 1800 Critical Rating with his Precision buff.

    Carnage gets +1400 Critical rate on light attacks.
