evading mr.fantastic

Am I missing something when fighting against mr.fantastic? I use corvus with proxima synergy and when I have the true strike active he still can evade me?

    I'm not sure what the reason is, but your true strike buff(purple icon with eye) is not active. Was it nullified, fate sealed, etc?

    I have no idea why it is not appearing but everytime It says true strike the symbol dissapeared. Over and over

    He can taunt and stagger.
