  Why not? Did they add something better to purchase with loyalty except boosts or loyalty crystals? And the chance they might buff uc?

  I wouldn't. If get to the point where you want to play higher level war the loyalty is useful. Or there may be better options in the loyalty store at some point. Unless you really grind arena, one more (useless) 5* won't make much difference. Honestly I wish I could sell my 4* UC and get my loyalty back.

  Thanks, I just started grinding arena seriously, mainly for the acorns to make sure I hit a mil, but the units are awesome so I think I’ll carry on, and one 5 star that I won’t touch will probably not make a massive difference

  Based on your stated intention, yay.
  You don’t need any boosts unless you’re fighting in higher tier AW and AQ.
