Can"t access my 2016 Varient Rank Up Gem

Hi i have two science rank 3 to 4 gem and one 2016 science gem rank 3 to 4 i want to use my 2016 gem on 2016 champion but whenever i open rank up tab it directly give me option to use my 3 to 4 gem instead of giving me an option to use my 2016 gem

    I have two 2016 science 3 to 4 rank up gems. I also have a normal science 3 to 4 rank up gem. She hulk is a 2016 champ and I want to take her to rank 4 using 2016 gem but I am unable to do so because on the rank up window it shows the normal rank up gem. I don't want to use the normal science gem. Please see to this @Kabam Miike
