Variant 4 Problems

I just completed the first 5 quests of Variant 4 with an account that's somewhat lower level. I have 4 R4 5*s. But here's the problem, what everyone sort of stopped talking about, 1* availability! I've dropped 300 units into Hero Crystals so far just trying to pull ANY 1* champion and still, nothing! You need to make some other way to get 1*s guys, cause this is rediculous.

    I’m glad you brought this up @Etjama

    I was honestly thinking about making a thread about this when i got into the final quest with no no bleeders to use against that moon knight. Its just awful because having to take down the 15 charges while waiting for specials to be thrown is just really difficult.

    I did remember Kabam mention there would be additional ways to obtain these 1*’s in the future, but there’s not even been further mention since.

    Oh and for those that will say “dont sell your champs”, I’m a new player that started August last year , so I was only able to obtain 4 1*’s.

    It’s just not fair for newer players that never even sold anything

    That's cause it's a serious problem that Kabam has kept ignoring.

    It is ridiculous. And I do sympathise.

    An updated 1* crystal - or even a 1* arena - would be very welcome.

    Now I know how you feel. Cause after 400 units, I finally got a 1 star and it was Juggernaut. Since he's not a bleeder, that Moon Knight boss was a pain, but I finally got him down.

    The other problem being there is only 1 good 1* option for the caustic temper path

    There is nothing you can do about it now.
    One thing I don't get is why anyone would sell one stars. They do not give anything usefull or any shards or anything

    Hindsight is a strong tool that we can use, I haven't sold them either but 5 years ago information was scarce and people didn't know it wasn't optimal. Saying "don't sell your champs" to someone who did out of ignorance is not helping the issue. While I think that questionable crystal is not a solution, a simple fix like 1* crystal isn't either. Kabam needs to find a way to create a creative solution to this and unfortunately I'm not creative enough to suggest anything good :( best I can suggest is 1* champs as path rewards in other quests on Variant 4
