AW rating compression worsening shell Ally exploit?

As mentioned in the title I'm asking myself if it isn't a big advantage now for the "alliances" using various alliances because now they have plenty of low rating shell allys to use after the coming season πŸ€”

Or have I missed something in the road maps that Kabam is planning to punish this somehow? Otherwise my guess is that the new matchmaking algorithm is worsening mismatches extremely because low rating allys with high Prestige players get oppents with the same AW rating but not necessarily as strong as they are πŸ™ˆ

I hope my point is clear I'm interested in other opinions ✌️

I don't know a lot about those shells, but as I get it, the point is those have lower rating, right? So actually when they cut rating of every alliance by half, the higher the ally, the more rating it loses. So I'd expect it to somewhat solve that issue. Am I wrong?

the point of "shells" is the ability to have "a spare alliance" with a specific rating that users can jump to every other season to maximize matchups and points, thus starting from a slightly lower point and rising to an apex to score well. By lowering every alliance rating, it negates that ability for this particular season, and the entire point of this is to create mismatches so the Haves will be forced to win because there's suddenly a lot of Have-Nots who can string a lucky streak and out-point Haves who overthink things. This also means there's going to be some wild mismatches by design, which should be fun to heckle on the boards. Unless they plan on doing this every season, you're back to the same problem by season 21 tho.
