**WINTER OF WOE - BONUS OBJECTIVE POINT**
As previously announced, the team will be distributing an additional point toward milestones to anyone who completed the Absorbing Man fight in the first step of the Winter of Woe.
This point will be distributed at a later time as it requires the team to pull and analyze data.
The timeline has not been set, but work has started.
There is currently an issue where some Alliances are are unable to find a match in Alliance Wars, or are receiving Byes without getting the benefits of the Win. We will be adjusting the Season Points of the Alliances that are affected within the coming weeks, and will be working to compensate them for their missed Per War rewards as well.

Additionally, we are working to address an issue where new Members of an Alliance are unable to place Defenders for the next War after joining. We are working to address this, but it will require a future update.

AW rating compression worsening shell Ally exploit?

As mentioned in the title I'm asking myself if it isn't a big advantage now for the "alliances" using various alliances because now they have plenty of low rating shell allys to use after the coming season πŸ€”

Or have I missed something in the road maps that Kabam is planning to punish this somehow? Otherwise my guess is that the new matchmaking algorithm is worsening mismatches extremely because low rating allys with high Prestige players get oppents with the same AW rating but not necessarily as strong as they are πŸ™ˆ

I hope my point is clear I'm interested in other opinions ✌️

I don't know a lot about those shells, but as I get it, the point is those have lower rating, right? So actually when they cut rating of every alliance by half, the higher the ally, the more rating it loses. So I'd expect it to somewhat solve that issue. Am I wrong?
