so i have a 6 star namor i can take to rank 2 but also have a 5 star namor at rank 1. i have a 5 star mutant awakening gem and quite a few sig stones as well. do i rank the 6 star or the 5 star? have catalyst overflowing and the decision is too tough to make

Actually I’m in the same boat, i have both 6 and 5*.
    Want my advice? Rank neither.

Namor is a niche champion, you’re not going to use him on your team for general content, only where he’s needed. His rampup is too long to do massive damage right out of the gate like OR, domino, AA etc

If he's duped, he's the highest prestige mutant, if that matters. Otherwise, it all depends on if you use him a lot.

    My 6star is rank 3, sig 130. I like him a lot.

I strongly disagree with gago. His rampup is not too long. 15 outrages+two bars of power+dash back+special 3+special 2+special 1+a few hits on the combo deals massive damage. Mine is only r4, but does great work. Take up the 4* one. With signature.. It'll be a good addition to the monster damage

Before his nerf, people builded to the sp3 fired it at 28 outrages for a total of 2 furies.

The fact everyone does it at only 15 outrages/2 bars of power now basically means the nerf was indeed a nerf. Yes his damage/sig wasn’t changed, but just look at threads from a couple months back, and look how hyped Namor use to be.

I’d do the 5* out of those two. He still has lots of value, solid prestige, decent aq champ. An unduped 6* namor will not give you very much value at all.

Namor has 2 key features - his damage output potential by utilising outrage, and his damage reflection. The former is out of the box and you just need to learn how to manage it, but the latter is Sig dependant and ideally requires max sig in order to get 100% reflection. Based on that, the 5* is generally a better choice since goodness knows when you can dupe the 6*, let alone max-sig them.

If you're just comparing 5* and 6* Namor - just to give you a rough idea at 5* 5/65 with suicides mastery on and no boost .. 15/16 outrages at 2 bars power to sp3 + sp2 + sp1 can deal around 140k - 160k depending on the RNG. 6.3 and 6.4 opponents usually go down in one cycle plus a few more hits unless there're node interactions. He's definitely not the fastest to take down a 200k opponent but it's not like he takes forever either. I do think he needs to be at max sig though if you want to use him frequently. His utility definitely outshines his damage imo.
