What ever happened to diversity?

It’s gone. Maybe time to up the value of it? How many dominos, things, fury, dooms etc do we need to fight on one path.

Diversity is the worst way to win a war. I hate that it even gives points.

There are so many other categories you could give points for; difficulty if the champion on that node, points for how much time it took to take down an individual node, difficulty of particular champs on certain nodes. Having a new champ or placing a karnak on a throwaway node shouldn’t be something that gets rewarded.

It’s still significant up in tier 1, we don’t place full 150 diversity but we only place dupes of rank 3 6* top defenders. Lower in tiers people are much less likely to solo difficult fights so having a defence of just the strongest is better

It could be a good idea to add additional rewards based on diversity. It doesn't factor into the outcome of the war any more than it already does, but there is still incentive to push for maximum diversity.

We still go for diversity and we are tier 5. Most of our opponents did not.

Because defenders get more deaths and deaths count more

In tier 1 u still have to max it out but platinum 1 and lower undontbreally need to care for it

As a plat 1 player that isn’t true, you don’t need it full 150 but you do need it very high, an average war is 30-40 deaths, if you’re missing like 40 diversity it’s huge

It’s hit or miss in what we face. It’s a gamble either way. Possibly get more kills to make up for the diversity points, or get more diversity points for less kills from meh defenders.

Crazy idea here, just remove diversity points and make the maps unable to place duplicate defenders.

It baffles me that more people dont run a diverse defence, 90% of our war wins have come down to the points we gained from diversity. Dont get me wrong it's a cheap win, but we clear our map every war so I'll happily take any boost when it's a close one

One of our enemies last season placed that. Only Dooms/Hypers and some more. So easy to beat. LOL

Hmm, Diversity is quite important imo. We usually clear 100% and sometimes Diversity is the Key to Victory. You can loose some more Champs with better Diversity.
