    Courage doesn’t matter unless you’re below 50%. Yes assassin would help as would putting every available point into the offensive tree (strength, fury, etc). I may do that just for fun and agree it can probably be done. The bigger point is previous iterations of this event were fixed. Not a situation where you can manipulate the masteries to create an advantage over other players. I don’t have suicides unlocked and prob never will and have finished all content 100% with the exception of abyss 100% (3 more paths). Do I feel like I could compete if I had suicides? Absolutely. Creating an event to find the most skilled summoner doesn’t make much sense when you’ve got people competing on different levels. It’s like having a race where certain people have turbo charged engines and the rest have stock set ups. Naysayer logic would say that you have the ability to supe up your car. I would say all previous races had fixed parameters and truly showed player skill. Remove the variability and it then comes down to skill and RNG. Thus what made the previous showdowns great.

    you had to actually go to new york to compete previously.......now THATS a roadblock for 99% or more of the community
