Energy cost for halls of fortune

Halls were not supposed to cost energy right. Halls of fortune require me to use energy. Is this a bug or energy was removed only for halls of glory

    Just realized halls of fortune cost energy,..think that’s ridiculously annoying. It’s absolute garbage that you need to do about 10 fights and Use energy for 90 k in gold lmfao,...should be one fight (dead pool lol),..no energy cost and 90 k for completion,...won’t be doing it again !!!
