Abyss nexus question

Let’s say I finished the abyss 100% and got the 6star nexus crystal .
If I don’t open it, does it mean that when the featured pool is going into the basic the featured characters that just got added to the basic are also added to the nexus that I already got and didn’t open ?

    As far as I know, the moment you receive a Crystal in your inventory it‘s content is already decided. The rolling animation and stuff is all just for fun.

    But: Shards are different, as long as you save them (like Premium or 3*/4* ...)

    So you should better wait with the last Abyss path if you are waiting for a certain new Champ. The chances are still veeery low for one particular Champ to appear. 3 out of 100+ different Champs? It‘s not like you could choose whatever you want.

    A champion is decided the moment you open the crystal. Which means yes, if you decide to wait until the featured champs are added to the basic pool, they will be a part of your Nexus crystal.
