Thing or Venom to rank 5?

Would should be my first r5 5*, venom or thing? Thing is awakened sig 40.
venom is not awakened.

    What content you’re trying to complete?
    Thing and Venom are two different type champs, Thing can be awesome AW defender and crazy road cleaner with synergy team. Whilst Venom is a versatile champ.

    Yeah, atm I’m on 6.1.5 crossbones. After that I’m going to work on act 5 exploration.

    TBH my Venom and Thing are both sit at 5*r3 only, and I completed Act 6, yet if I really need to rank up one of them, I prefers Thing at the moment. Nonetheless, both are worth to rank up and nothing wrong with either choice.

    Thing may not be the best choice when compared with Iceman / Colossus, yet he is still viable.

    In other fight, basically it becomes easier if you get used to his “20 rock charges + SP2” fight style.

    When it's really hard content, I use Thing with synergy to clear it.

    As for Venom, if you don't have him, you can still clear the content. His a good to have, but not essental.
