Abyss Hulk Ragnarok not #Metal

Basically what the title says. I brought Magneto in thinking he’d be a great counter because Hulk Rags is a #Metal champ. No such luck. Is this intentional or something that will be addressed?

He knows. But Ghulk should be updated in Abyss now. It was brought up in another thread. The team's looking into it, OP.

Edit: Looks like they came back and it's now "intended". They won't be updating the tags of champs in Abyss. 🙄

Correct, and I know that in the past when champions got a rework it did not impact their LoL counterparts. I’m not asking for compensation or anything like that, I’m just wondering if they intend for this Hulk Rags to remain non-metal or if it was just an oversight that they’ll be changing.

I brought void on the team as well, so I’m not road blocked. I’d probably be a lot more bitter about it if I hadn’t 😅

Awesome, thank you! Probably won’t help me on my current run, but it’s good to know. I think I’ve got another path going through him, so I’ll wait until it’s addressed to do that next one

Let's be honest Magneto would be a good option for that fight if the metal tag was added because I heard from folks that he is very troublesome with that regeneration of his.

this sucks since you had no way of knowing other than going in yourself, and it made sense to assume the change would follow since champions like spider-gwen got her SP1 animation changed in labyrinth of legends

They want everyone to "have the same experience" or something like that. Yet, Cable's sp1 got changed, and CMM was made easier. While both may have been bugs, why not keep them the same as they were? If people had to use revives for a really bad CMM fight, why not everyone else?
The reasoning for not changing the tag never made sense, and I'm sure they knew that.

(Haven't completed Abyss, so take my opinion with a grain of salt.)

They generally don't update special quests like rol or lol like they do regular quests. Never particularly understood why but that's just how things roll around here.

The versions of the champions in the “of legends” content aren’t the same code as the champion you’d find elsewhere in the game. Same character models and animations, but everything else is different. I had assumed that tags would fall under the same kind of category that models and animations did, but turns out that was incorrect. This is the first time a tag update impacted actual gameplay, so there wasn’t any precedent to look to for it.
