I intend to pull a 6* Ghost out of my next 6* crystal because I have been after her for a while. Please leave strategies and tips below of how to play her correctly. I have been playing around with my awakened maxed out 3* recently but I always seem to get hit sometimes and when the AI is aggressive it is DOOM (another champion I intend to pull from a 6* crystal soon). Please leave tips below so that I can prepare for my upcoming 6* Ghost pull.

Ghost & Doom is so easy to pull as 6 & 5*.

I've ended duping mine and will dupe my 5* Doom as well soon

...and I am not jealous at all! 😶

Cable’s main use come in the form of a five star Apocalypse or higher, but even then he is mid-tier mutant at best, and isn’t as good as say, Omega Red, Colossus, Namor, Domino, Sunspot, Red Magneto, Archangel (who you cannot pull out of this crystal), and others.

His sig ability (which you would get from this dupe, if you where indeed to pull him), gives a 38.93% chance to gain 16.5% a bar of power over 10 seconds after he gains a bar of power.

    Hope this helps!

Tears in my eyes. You placed... D... DOMINO above Cable??!?!?!?! 😭😭😭😭

Anyways back on topic... I'm still practicing and still occasionally get hit. Any Ghost players who don't get hit all at?

I did pull a 6* ghost 2 days ago and I can say that she is quite difficult to play

If only it were that easy.

    If only 😂

Ghost is actually really easy to play, the only thing difficult is learning to get off an accurate sp2 without wasp and without parrying, I've been practicing on my 4 star rank 1 for a couple of days and I don't have any problem with phasing hits, but the no parry sp2 is still a problem.

If you're using wasp, it's not a problem as sp2 will be unblockable, just tap into block twice, dash back and throw sp2 at the same moment.

If you're learning ghost, the first thing you need to do is to learn to trust "the phase", when you're phasing, you won't get hit, look out for the phase timer when you're phasing and learn to recognize your opponent's attacks so that you can retaliate appropriately.
Aggressive AI is great for ghost as the opponent will come at you as soon as you phase so you can phase one or two hits, then 4 hit combo, then phase and repeat.

But I'm guessing this is a joke, surely you know how to play ghost don't you @KDSuperFlash10

Mainly, get a grasp of the phase mechanic, get a feel for how long you can rely on it and try taking different number of hits into your phase (pun unintended) before retaliation.

The best way to get to know her miss is by using it against champs that have different styles of combos like 6-7 hit combos.
Her miss mechanic in a sense is like training wheels when going up against annoying special attacks that require you to use a combination of miss and manual evades (helped me a lot with the 4* challenge this month against the cavalier apocalypse boss). This will help you mitigate a great amount of damage and you'll get an idea about when to let her phase mechanic take the wheel.

The amount of hits you need to take on the phase depends entirely on whether or not she's duped. Multiple hits into phase if she's duped if not just one hit into phase, 4 hit combo, phase again and repeat. Easy openings for days (I'm looking at you Korg). Her phase intercepts (1 hit to your phase followed by immediate retaliation) are considered as intercepts so you can use her against do not go gentle or nodes that require you to intercept to get bonuses. Just be careful doing phase intercepts against a dashing rhino or opponents with the mighty charge node as they can punish you coz of the unstoppable, in such cases you can take an extra hit into phase after their dash and then retaliate.

She's very good against aggressive AIs.
If you want bigger damage, a bunch of heavy attacks are the way to go. If you want to use her in long fights, it's better to bank passive cruelties by converting cruelty buffs on you using an sp3 after which you can continue with the standard sp2 rotation.

Also, if I was to recommend a synergy it'd be Hood. Helps you tank sp3s, mitigate recoil if you are running suicides, deal with unavoidable damage like limbo, Dormammu's degen, passive shocks from EMP modification, Havok's detonations and all the good stuff. You can pretty much finish fights unscathed. The wasp synergy is nice to have but not needed unless you want to use her against IMIW, Modok.
You can also parry, phase into sp2 or bait heavy and then phase into sp2 or even better, learn to time your phases such that you can intercept the opponent's dash with your sp2 (after the phase) which will come in handy when there are gates or class restrictions and you can't bring in a Wasp.

Good luck if you do pull her as a 6*, she's a ton of fun. It'd be crazy if you do actually pull her from your next 6* lol, we'll be here to celebrate it.
    Cheers!

Just practice a bit against WS and learn the timings. It’s not the same for everyone but it’s a good baseline. Whilst she’s not awakened you don’t need to worry about getting hit twice or more into the phase although if you want to practice for when you get her awakened take 2 phased hits and then hit back. She counters evade if she has the guaranteed crit thing up (after you dash back you have a yellow buff) so if you are fighting a miles morales or something make sure to only hit him once with your guaranteed crit and dash back to get another one. Run her with wasp if you want convenience (you can finish a combo, dash back and get an unblockable special whilst without wasp you have to parry or try to get them to dash in) run her with hood if you want to phase special 3’s and be immune to stuff like degen whilst in phase (you won’t take any damage but as soon as phase expires the degen damage will start ticking again)
You mentioned the AI being aggressive which is a good thing for ghost players, you don’t want passive AI waiting out your phase and then you have to go in there like your playing a regular champ and risk getting hit.
Enjoy her man she’s a beast hope I helped at least a bit
Edit just saw the guy above me pretty much say what I said and I didn’t see his comment sorry lol

When I was learning to play Ghost, I found ROL AI wasn't aggressive enough, so it was hard to get into the rhythm. Personally for me, I found it easier to learn on Variant 3 Iron Man.
