How do I use generic 3-4 2017 gem if I already have a class 3-4?

I have several 2017 gems for r4 older champs, but I also have a science 3-4. I can’t get the option to use the generic since I have the class one. Any way to change this since it sucks to not be able too use these gems for no real reason?

    You're going to have to use one you don't want to use, then message Kabam support and tell them what you wanted to do and they typically will give you back the Gem you used but didn't want to use, and take away the one you wanted to use but couldn't from your inventory.

    This is how it's worked in the past for friends that had this issue. Just please be courteous and explain in detail your problem when you submit a ticket and the kind representative should be able to help you out and fix this for you.

    this is what I've heard too, but just to be safe, I wouldn't do anything and first tell them your situation. they will probably tell you to do that, but I would play it safe
