R5 Red Mags or Sunspot? Unawakened, but gem in hand

I need to explore act 5 and move on to act 6 completion. Level 49 and Cavalier. Waiting to push on act 6 till all the nerfs kick on.

Given the current meta, and what my near term objectives are, who should I upgrade? And should I use the gem or not? Further discussion appreciated in the comments. Thank you

For extra info: My main questing team is 3 unawakened 6* R1s: Namor, Sentinel (swapped in for aarkus if needed), and Collosus.
Awakened 4/55 Arkus
Unawaked 4/55 Sunspot and Red Mags

    Red mags and I will politely disagree with the two above me about the gem,..I awakened mine bro and am sinking every sig stone generic or mutant into him,..reduces damage taken from a single source and increase heavy damage through added energy bursts,..and makes him even more of a beast,..gonna take mine to sig 200,..and I don’t care what the people or the papers say!! Lol
